This tour was amazing!! Highly recommend. They picked us up in town. The communication was really good! A must do in La Fortuna!

Great experience and exactly what was expected. The area you park your vehicle also felt very safe and the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. We did the 12 cable option which felt like the perfect amount. Would definitely recommend!

It's not for the faint of heart. You have to hike with about 20 lbs of equipment strapped to you and we did it in the rain. That said, I'd do it again in a heart beat. Lines were long and fast and the views were spectacular. The guides were plenty, professional, friendly and attentive. This was my first ziplining but not my last. Although I find it hard to believe there can be a more beautiful place to zipline.
There's no better feeling than hearing someone's first ziplining experience turned into the beginning of many more adventures. We love that, despite the rain and the challenge along the way, you walked away wanting to do it all again. If you're on the fence about doing the Arenal 12 Zipline Cables tour, book it - you don't need to be nervous at all. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely awesome. The guides and instructors are incredible. They are exceptionally well-trained, professional, and double-check everything to make sure you are completely secure and comfortable before letting you launch off every single platform. Flying over the canopy is pure exhilaration, but the absolute best part is ziplining with a view of the waterfall right beneath you - the scenery is breathtaking! I couldn't have asked for a better adventure in La Fortuna. Highly recommend!
Turning those first nerves into pure excitement is one of our favorite parts of this adventure. And then comes that moment with the waterfall, one of those views that's hard to put into words until you experience it yourself. Myself and my 10yr old did the 12 zip lines yesterday morning. Communication and ease of booking with the operator was fantastic. We were picked up on time, kitted up at the venue and took a 15 min tractor ride most of the way up. The last ten minutes involved a strenuous walk up steep steps which would’ve been a struggle at the best of times but even more so when you’ve got all the heavy equipment on. It does mention a 15min hike in the information prior to booking but I do feel this needs to be highlighted more as there were people on our tour who physically struggled to do this. There was a lot of people on the tour and I felt it would take a long time to get through us all but it didn’t. It was quick and efficient. My main complaint was the tour guides. I’d read in previous reviews, they were patient, kind, made you feel safe etc. Whilst this is true of some of them, others barely spoke only to say “I told you not to brake” or “up” when they needed to connect you to a line. I also wanted to take some photos of my son going down one of the lines. This would’ve taken 10-20secs but I was told by the instructor “up, no time”. When I’ve paid such an amount of money, I wanted to get some photos of my son. I imagine they didn’t want me to take any photos as I would then more likely buy their photos package (which of course I ended up buying as I was prevented from taking photos). All in all, a good tour but some of the guides need a bit more training on improving their attitude and making it fun for families.

Wow! No other word but this! This was so awesome!! Really highly recommended. The instructors are also very competent and take the necessary safety measures! Top arranged! Top: grab the 12 ziplines. That's the coolest and you can build it up easy.

Zip lining was one of the best parts of our Costa Rica trip! The guides made us feel safe from start to finish, and the entire operation was very organized. They were especially wonderful with our kids, taking the time to encourage them and making sure they felt comfortable every step of the way. Worth the money! The views were incredible, and the whole experience was so much fun for our family. If you’re visiting the Arenal area, I highly recommend this adventure. We’d definitely do it again!

Good ride. Great guides. I would have liked a better explanation of the hike prior to getting to the first takeoff point. A very strenuous hike up steep stairs is not for those with leg and knee problems.
