We booked on the spur of the moment the day before, based on the relatively good reviews we’d seen so far. It was a mixed group of French, Ukrainians, English people and us Germans. The captain of the Madoudou wasn’t very talkative. I reckon he spoke a total of 10 sentences. At least he spotted three whales – or was told about them over the radio. They were actually quite close, between us and the sister boat, the Tenerife Yacht. After that, he unfortunately turned round and headed for the swimming cove. The other boat, the Tenerife Yacht, carried on out to sea instead. We had quite rough seas and had taken tablets for seasickness as a precaution. The French, however, hadn’t. Luckily, they managed to keep it all down. The captain didn’t even say where the sick bags were. He spent most of the long swimming break below deck tidying up, even though there were a few kids in the water outside. To be on the safe side, I always swam alongside the Ukrainian boy, as his parents stayed on board. I would have expected the captain to keep a closer eye on things. The meal consisted of pre-filled rolls with ham and salad. To drink, there was Belgian beer and tinned cola. After half an hour, we headed back to the harbour, where the Tenerife yacht arrived at the same time. I’ve no idea if they at least saw any dolphins, but their swimming break was certainly not as long as ours. All in all, a relaxing trip, though unfortunately with too little information. Value for money was just about acceptable.

We had a very beautiful vacation day, everything was uncomplicated, we saw whales and went swimming/snorkeling. Would love to do it again!

Lovely to see the pilot whales, clean sailboat, nice guide. Just a shame we left later than half nine and were back by 12.15, so more like 2.5 hr trip. Also the guide kept saying 3hrs wasn't long and then ours was actually shorter which was disappointing.

Very pleasant moment and very clean sailboat

We had an absolute blast on our recent whale watching trip! From start to finish, everything was seamlessly organised. Booking & Communication Booking through TripAdvisor was super easy. We received our confirmation promptly, followed by clear, helpful instructions via WhatsApp, which made the meeting location and preparation totally stress-free. The Crew & Experience Our guide, Alex, was phenomenal! He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all of our questions with enthusiasm, and was fantastic with the children, keeping them engaged throughout the trip. Seeing pilot whales up close was an absolute highlight, and the swim stop was the perfect bonus. Equipment & Boat The boat was in immaculate condition, clean, and very comfortable. They also provided swimming goggles for the swim stop, which were clean and in great shape. A sandwich was included along with two drinks per person, which was plenty for trip. We had such a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water!

The tour was worth it, the group was nice and small (11 people) and we spotted two different pilot whale families. I would have gladly skipped the subsequent swim stop in favor of whale watching.

Very nice excursion...we didn't see any dolphins, but we did see a large family of pilot whales with a baby and a sea turtle. As a tip, I can only recommend that anyone who is not sea-worthy take a travel sickness pill beforehand...because it is quite a rocky affair on the sailboat.
