Amazing experience. Vlad was a great guide. Absolutely worth the money. Saw about 12 bears including cubs. Easy pick up and drop off.

The guide provided very good information on the situation of bears in Romania during the drive. It was also explained that it will be a place where they are fed vegetarian food under the supervision of the rangers. This serves to ensure that the overly large bear population does not go after the farmers' sheep. Quite obviously it works, and for us it was dreamlike to see 16 bears, 9 of which were cubs. In addition, there were a few foxes. A truly great experience.

Before the activity, you get all the necessary information for the meeting point and what to bring. Vlad - our guide - speaks very good German. And of course, we saw bears! Best thing you can do in Brasov is book the bear excursion at Etours where you can see the bears up close from 17:00 to 18:30 in an observation hut. Vlad had t super organized and Mihai (our guide, a biologist) could tell so much. Very special.

The tour was exceptionally interesting. Our guide spoke fluent German and provided us with detailed information about the bears. The observation of the bears was very impressive, and several bears came to the feeding area. We can definitely recommend this tour!

This was top of our list when coming to Romania and we were not disappointed! The tour was excellent - great communication in advance and comfortable ride to the forest from Brasov. Vlad is an excellent tour guide and gave us loads of info on bears in Romania - he was funny, engaging and knowledgeable (the ultimate combo in a tour guide). When we arrived there were already two bears there - the kids were so excited! Over 1.5hours we saw ten bears and four cubs, which were the absolute highlight. We also saw a fox and cub. The hide is comfortable and they provide binoculars (which do help you get a close up view, but you can also see the bears perfectly well without them too). It was amazing to see so many bears in the wild, and the whole tour felt safe and very well organised. One of the best wildlife watching experiences we've had.

Pleasantly surprised at how much bear action we saw. A mom and 3 cubs. Bullying by dominant male. Fierce mama bear to perceived threats from other bears. Really worthwhile unique experience!
