We had a wonderful experience traveling through Morocco with MSITravels. From the planning stage to the end of our trip, the communication was professional, responsive, and reassuring.
What really stood out was the personal attention throughout the journey. Our driver/guide was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and always made sure we were comfortable. We never felt rushed, and we had opportunities to experience Morocco beyond the usual tourist stops.
The accommodations were carefully selected, the itinerary was well organized, and everything ran smoothly. We came home with beautiful memories and a much deeper appreciation for Morocco and its people.

Great 10 Days Trip Around Morocco

Stunning Morocco
What an incredible, amazing, brilliant trip to Morocco we have enjoyed! So good that I ran out of superlatives by day 3!! Our Not In The Guidebooks off-road and Erg Chigaga Desert tour, delivered by their local agents MSITravels took Sandy and I off the beaten track in a 4x4 driven by our excellent tour guide Hssaine.
We slept in eight different beds in riads, hotels and a tent – living like nomads in the Sahara desert for two nights – starting in the Medina in old Marrakech – the maddest, most hectic place on earth!
Taking in the picturesque gorges of Imi n’Ifri and the 17th-century Amridil Kasbah, we drove the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the gorges of Dades and Todgha. We then travelled past the Draa valley and to Erg Chigaga, with its dunes, some as high as 300m. Whilst in the desert, we spent several hours on the backs of camels, which was a great experience – especially as having been told that there had been no rain there for 4 years…..the rain hammered down, and when it turned to hailstones, the camels went on strike and all sat down! Fortunately, the rain didn’t last too long and we weren’t soaked through for too long under the Sahara sun.
We were privileged on two occasions to visit local families in their homes, and they each prepared and ate lunch with us – these people have a completely different way of life to us; this trip really did show us the real Morocco – no ClubMed trip for us.
On way back to Marrakech, we stayed at Ouarzazate, and visited the 11th century UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou, where Gladiator (and the upcoming Gladiator 2), Lawrence of Arabia and many other movies were filmed, as was Game of Thrones. The drive over the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, with its narrow, winding road 2,200m up, was interesting….. but we did have amazing views over the Atlas Mountains.
Our final evening, back in the Medina, saw us in Jemaa el-Fna Square to watch the snake charmers, belly dancers and other performers – as well as “enjoying” the company of many, many stallholders trying to sell us their food!
Back home now, but we so enjoyed the amazing, beautiful country of Morocco 😊
