We took a two day trip with our three kids (age range 13-17) to the Sahara sand dunes. While the trip was long (8 hrs each way) the experience of camel riding, watching the sun set over the dunes and the starry night sky made the effort well worth it. The landscape is out of this world. The peace and stillness is something you don’t experience in daily life. Hamid was an excellent tour guide, and a really safe driver, and Omar at the camp was amazing. Really lovely food, the breakfast was a real treat with everything the kids could want, and they were so thoughtful to put or beds outside, without even asking, because the tents were so warm. We were able to sleep under the starry sky.

We took part in the tour relatively early in the season in the summer, as we wanted to experience the "real" Sahara feeling in the summer/late summer, and it was truly an incomparable experience. The tour was very well organized; we usually travel more "on our own," but the experience was a real adventure nonetheless. The riads were very clean and air-conditioned, some with an infinity pool with a beautiful view, some in the middle of a huge date palm valley with very nice hosts as well. Our guide spoke English very well, communication was effortless, and he knows the desert exceptionally well. The highlight was, of course, the desert camp; it is set up with a lot of love in the sand dunes, and the food was also always very plentiful and very delicious. The tour is recommended without exception!

These two days and one night in the Erg Chigaga desert will remain etched in our memories. Despite a long car ride from Marrakech, the splendid landscapes we passed by captured our attention the whole way. Ali took care of us in every way and his kindness contributed greatly to the success of these two days. Camel ride at sunset and night under the stars under the most beautiful sky I have ever seen in my life. I highly recommend this adventure which, despite the price, is really worth the detour!

We spent a night in the desert, it was exceptional, the welcome, the view, the food, everything was perfect!

This was the trip of a lifetime. The value for the price is extraordinary. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, we felt safe and well cared for by a knowledgable and friendly guide who drove us through beautiful towns and landscapes. The company is great at communicating and worked with us to personalize and make the most of our time. Our lone regret is that we only booked a two-night excursion and wish we had made it a few nights longer. We would book this experience again and only with this tour operator.

This is the second time traveled with Ali and will certainly do it again as we were fully satisfied again. We experienced so much excitement during this trip that it was really difficult to say goodbye to Morocco and especially to the desert. Even if the drive was long, we enjoyed sitting in the car, looking out the window in amazement and enjoying the holiday relaxed, because Ali took care of everything and responded to every one of our wishes. Also, be sure to mention Ali is the safest driver, whether road or sandy runway in the desert.

We did a seven-day tour with Ali in February. It was a unique experience! The car was super comfortable, we could always stop for photos and breaks if we wanted and Ali showed us many great places and always took into consideration our needs. There was something for everyone on the tour: We saw cities (one day each of Essaouira and Marrakesh...), did exciting hikes (two days in Dades Valley) and discovered the desert on camels (two days in Ali's camp). I came to Morocco with high expectations and the expectations were even exceeded, thank you Ali and Helene!
