A great experience, the local food and drinks tasted were all very good. Tip: don’t eat breakfast before you go!! Mike was a great host and gave us useful information on the area, history and the foods. Definitely recommend it. 5* trip

We went on a food tour of the Jordaan area with Mike. As we were the only couple who had booked a tour at the time, we had a personal guide! What a wonderful experience we had. Mike was informative and personable. We enjoyed poffertjes, several kinds of cheese with accompaniments, bittebollen, fries with sauce, Surinamese Pom, apple pie, and gin. Along the way we learned so much about the area, both the food and the history. Both the tour and the guide are highly recommended.

This was an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone! Our guide, Mike, was excellent! He was friendly, funny and described the origin stories of the food we sampled and shared the local and cultural history of Amsterdam. Not only that, but he was genuinely interested in learning about the various places his guests were from; we felt very comfortable and ease with Mike. It was a fabulous experience!

Some good foods and of course the deep dish apple pie, however instead of the alcohol tastings I would have preferred tasting some of the Dutch wines we heard about.
