Foods of Amsterdam
Leo was the perfect guide. Taking our group to great spots enjoying the Amsterdam version of grilled cheese, herring, cheeses, fries, stroppwafles and more. Plus, an added surprise of a cookie dough creation at a social media hot spot. Not only were the tastings delicious, Leo’s history “lessons” on the fly and his preparedness for the tour right on. He brought bottled waters and umbrellas for those that needed them. All in all I’d highly recommend this tour and Leo as a guide..

Fun experience!
I had a really fun time here. The walk through the neighborhood was really spectacular. Lovely sights to be seen while snacking on the foods and learning brief history’s and fun facts from our enthusiastic and light hearted guide, Barni. He was very welcoming and made it a mission to recall everyone’s names and engaging in small chats so that even solo travelers can feel welcomed. The price for visiting these establishments and the 10 treats we had was well worth it as well as the time. It was about 3 ish hours. Not bad, I would recommend wearing walking shoes. Overall, great experience! 10/10 would recommend! P.S: The herring really isn’t all that scary. It was very delicious.

Barni was a wonderful and charismatic host. He worked to make sure everyone had a good time, checking in on everyone by name frequently and peppered in lots of good facts and interesting information.
