Got hustled at the gate by the workers. Bought two tickets for castle tour and party a few weeks in advance, and then was told we need to buy more tickets to get in. Was able to get into castle for an additional 100 RON per ticket, but was told tickets for the party were sold out. Very frustrating as we had travelled very far to come to this party and had based our whole trip to Transylvania around this party at Bran Castle. Maybe you will be able to get in if you bribe the workers at the gate, but can’t say for certain. Castle is a beautiful place and seems like it could be a fun event, if it were not such a blatant display of the corruption that is ruining Romania as a country.
I am very sorry to hear about our negative experience at the castle but the workers at the castle have no affiliation with my company. I am a private business that offers this experience and our tickets were bought 2 months in advance. We had exact tickets for our customers and that is it. Do not confuse the castle and their employees with my experience as they are 2 separate things. I will ask you to remove the review as it is wrongfully posted and is damaging to my business.
