Unique experience thanks to our guide
We left Ho Chi Minh City quite early to reach Bến Tre. Two and a half hours of driving that I didn't even notice pass by! Our guide made the trip particularly pleasant by telling us the history of Vietnam and giving us a lot of information about the regions we were passing through. A real moment of exchange that already promised a very beautiful day.
We made a first stop to discover a small local industry centered around the trade of silk, bamboo, and coconut. An interesting visit, even if you still have to be wary of the prices offered on-site... That is also part of the tourist experience!
We then quickly arrived at our meeting point in Bến Tre, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. We started by discovering a brick factory. Unfortunately, no one was working that day, so we were not able to witness their manufacturing. Just before, we had been able to observe the work around the coconut and the way the Vietnamese remove its thick husk.
Then, time for some sweetness and discovery: we took a small boat to go taste fruits and various specialties made from coconut. We then took the boat again before getting on our bikes for a short ride to the lunch spot. And what a pleasant surprise! There were very few tourists, the bike ride was really welcome, and we passed through a peaceful and green environment.
The lunch was delicious and the setting absolutely charming: a stop in the middle of a real forest of coconut, banana, and mango trees. Our guide, once again, explained everything to us in great detail. I really liked his knowledge of the region, the history, and the traditions.
I must also emphasize how wonderful our guide was throughout this day. Always smiling, generous with his explanations, and very experienced, he gladly shares his experiences and knowledge. You can talk with him about many subjects, and that makes the experience even richer and more authentic.
We ended this beautiful day with one last short boat ride, a little too short for my taste... but probably because I simply felt very good there! Then we left the calm and lush vegetation of Bến Tre to return to the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City.
A very beautiful day, rich in discoveries, encounters, and landscapes. Very sincerely thank you to our guide, whom I highly recommend!

A memorable day
This trip offered an opportunity to get out of the HCM city and see some beautiful countryside and a contrasting, more relaxed way of life. I appreciated being picked up from the hotel, which is outside usual pick up area at 7am and indeed this contributed to my selection of this trip over other possibilities. Although it is a longer drive than some day trips, it was totally worth it. The driver drove very safely, and my guide Xiem, spent the first part of journey carefully and entertainingly explaining the history and geography of country which was fascinating, particularly as this was my first visit to Vietnam. The 2 boat trips were wonderful and relaxing, and cycling/walking provided a way of slowly taking the time to absorb the atmosphere of the places too. A really lovely day at the end of a busy work trip and convinced me to return for a holiday in near future. Thank you so much. Best wishes, Mary

We had a fantastic day...
We had a fantastic day with our guide, Xem, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history and the Mekong region, which really brought the places we visited to life.
We especially appreciated the stories he shared throughout the day—they added a personal and memorable touch to the tour. He also mentioned, with a smile, that he “doesn’t like his job but loves it,” and that perfectly sums up his passion. You can absolutely tell he genuinely cares about what he does.
Thank you for such an enjoyable and insightful day—we’d highly recommend this tour and Xem to anyone visiting the area.

Our wonderful Mekong Ricer tour with Tony
We had an amazing Mekong Delta tour with Tony (aka Tue) as our day guide. He was absolutely outstanding – extremely engaged, passionate, and clearly put a lot of effort into showing us everything and explaining the culture, history, and daily life along the way. His English was very good and easy to understand, and you could really feel that he truly loves his job and guiding people. This made the whole experience much more personal and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Tony aka Tue to anyone visiting the Mekong Delta.

We had the a wonderful experience touring the Mekong Delta, all thanks to our fantastic guide Jen ! She organized the day perfectly, taking us to very interesting and beautiful places that we would never have found on our own.
From start to finish, she was friendly, kind, and professional. She provided us with useful information not just about the Delta, but also great advice for the rest of our stay in Vietnam, which made our trip even better.
We highly recommend her services to anyone visiting the area; she truly made our experience memorable and special!

Nice peaceful morning and afternoon trip
We were picked up at 730 by Two (sorry about spelling, he just said like the number 2!) and whisked away to the river in well under 2 hours...we were lucky with the traffic. A quick look at the brick factory then onto a motor boat along the river, stopping at a coconut farm for demonstrations and tried milk and chocolate and tropical fruit. Walked to mat weaving for a demo, bought a lovely folding hat made from the same material. Then tuk tuk to river and lovely peaceful row boat to a great place for lunch..which was fab! Then back to car and home. There was no cycling involved or mentioned but we werent too upset as it was HOT!! Back to hotel by 3pm. Worth the money as its quite a long way from HCM and no hanging about for others!!

Thank you, Anna!
This was a very efficient way to explore some of the highlights of the Mekong Delta. The boat trip was fantastic just wish it had lasted longer. The coconut candy was a delightful treat. Our guide, Anna, was fun, charming, and spoke excellent English. She was incredibly helpful and attentive, even assisting us with planning the next stage of our journey as we wanted to explore the delta further.
