Wow...wow...wow... what an amazing experience. My friends and I were visiting Trujillo and we booked two private tours with Norte Expeditions. On day 2, we took part in this full day Sun and Moon Temples and Chan Chan tour and were blown away with the experience. Our guide Dilser was a wealth of knowledge and very professional. The SUV was impeccable and he had an ice chest in the back full of complimentary cold water bottles. All admission fees were included in the tour cost. Regarding the visited sites, truly worth the visit, highly recommended! I feel that all age groups can enjoy these amazing sites. At the Sun and Moon Temples we had the site to ourselves and in Chan Chan there were other groups but none that interfered or conflicted with us. Our day one tour was to El Brujo, Lady of Cao and Huanchaco which I will be writing a separate review. But should you read this review first, in summary, day one was AMAZING! My friends and I are looking forward to possibly using Norte Expeditions in our adventure next year to Chiclayo!

Outstanding tour of Moche, Chan Chan and other Huacas. Dilser is a highly knowledgeable and communicative guide and helpful in every way.
Dilser was a fabulous guide. Not only did he speak excellent English, he was completely knowledgeable in Peruvian history and culture. The fact he was a Moche himself made the trip even more interesting. At night we visited the Moche village and observed the traditional songs, music and dance. It was terrific!
What I liked the most was entering areas that you don’t normally see on the quick tours. You can see Mr. Dilser's experience, he knows every corner. The walk is long but having private transportation waiting nearby becomes much lighter. Very professional.
A unique experience, they really transport you back in time as the description says. Seeing the greatness of Chimu and Moche culture with someone who explains it as professionally as Mr. Dilser is priceless. We returned tired but happy. Keep it up!
We went with my partner and had a great time. Mr. Dilser was super friendly and had a lot of patience with the photos. It is another thing to go on a private tour, you feel much safer and more relaxed. The details of the mud walls are amazing. Thanks for everything!
Excellent service. We were picked up on time at the hotel and the van was spotless. The tour of Chan Chan was the ultimate thanks to the guidance of Mr. Dilser. If you are looking for something personalized and without crowds, this is the option.
We did the full day and it was totally worth it. The SUV was super comfortable and air-conditioned (necessary in the sun). We liked that Mr. Dilser took us to places where there were not so many people and we could take quiet photos without waiting. All very punctual and organized. 10/10.
What a chevere experience! We didn't really expect to learn that much. Mr. Dilser is a kingpin, he knows a lot, but he tells you like it's a story, nothing boring. Going in the private van was a total hit for the heat and comfort. Highly recommended if you want to really understand what you are seeing in Chan Chan
