YOSHI met us at our hotel and was very friendly and helpful. We walked around the city and he took us to view several different spots including samurai living quarters, geisha houses, the beautiful garden built by Maeda san. Yoshi was knowledgeable about the entire city and it's treasured history. He inspired me to do some reading on Maeda san, a leader who played a huge part in the development of the city. Yoshi was an excellent guide, and even provided a LOT of recommendations and useful information for after our tour. We would definitely recommend YOSHI san! Note: you will need a IC card to board some of the city buses.

Our guide Tomoko was great. She helped us to find the right places to visit and gave as a lot of information about Kanazawa and the Japan history. She also helped us to plan our following day to visit Shirawaka-go.

A Well-Organized and Informative Tour of Kanazawa
We, a family of 5, had a very enjoyable 6-hour private tour of Kanazawa with Hideharu Yoshino from Japan Guide Agency.
Communication before the tour was excellent and made it very easy to plan the day. Yoshi’s English was excellent, which made communication throughout the tour very smooth. He provided very clear and interesting explanations, giving us a better understanding of the history and culture of the places we visited.
During the tour we explored Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, and the Geisha and Samurai districts.
It was a well-organized and informative tour. Highly recommended.

Gucci Delivers an Excellent Kanazawa Day
Gucci was lovely. Kind, nice sense of humor with excellent English skills (she taught English in schools). Our family of 6 adults was with her for 6 hours in Kanazawa- very knowledgeable about this great City. We toured cultural, religious and historical sites - her pace was perfect and she took time to both engage with us and answer our many questions. Also took us to a great place for lunch and offered up some strong additional recommendations for our remaining time in the area. Highly recommended!

Best Way to See Kanazawa in a Day
Gucci was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and pleasant. We were able to see all the key sights in Kanazawa and her choice for lunch was amazing. She will work with you to cater to your interests, and is really flexible with on the spot changes. Highly recommend Gucci and her tour.

Great tour of kanazawa
We were a group of 6 people and Yoshi was our wonderful guide. A comprehensive tour of kanazawa visiting major attractions with the vast knowledge of Yoshi - recommended!

Great insights on Kanazawa and Japan.
We had a great tour with Asa. She is very knowledgeable about Kanazawa and Japanese culture in general. Her husband is a rice farmer outside of Kanazawa, and she also gave a good perspective on rural life in Japan. We got a good sense of Kanazawa in a short time. We really enjoyed our market tour and sushi lunch. I would definitely recommend taking a tour with Asa.

Kanazawa is a very charming city known for its traditional crafts, samurai culture, tea ceremony, and Noh theater. I am very happy that you enjoyed it.
Omicho Market is also a lively place where you can experience local life through the friendly interactions between shop owners and customers. I feel excited every time I visit there as well.
I’m glad you enjoyed the sushi lunch at the market. The sushi delivered by the small bullet train was so unexpected and cute, wasn’t it? I hope you will visit Japan someday again.
