Beautiful scenic boat ride on the lake. The audio guide was nice and it was augmented by our guide on the boat, adding additional color and other things to the trip. They were 10 on the boat and there was plenty of room as we were allowed to spread out and enjoy
Well organised. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Total of eight sharing together, so was just perfect. Definitely recommend
We went on an hour boat tour!! It was a quick and beautiful tour. We loved every minute of it. The air was fresh. The tour guide is amazing the tours on audio which we really ended up liking. I highly recommend.
The audio guide was very informative and it was a very beautiful ride on the lake. The staff were very friendly and even pointed out some additional spots. Overall a very good ride to see some of Lake Como.
What a fantastic trip, our guide Ali was excellent and very knowledgeable. The ride was one hour, which was perfect for our group.

The meeting point changed from when I booked the excursion. We had not realized an email was sent a couple of hours before letting me know the pick up spot but that information did not change on Viators reminders or app. Luckily, we got booked for another trip a couple of hours later. The boat ride was great! Beautiful villas and only 2 other people were on our boat. It felt semi private.
Great fun and very pleasant guides. The guides were very informative and the boat was comfortable and smooth.
Very disorganized staff. First we were told to go to the meeting point which was centrally located near our hotel. We received a late email notifying us that the location had changed. We weee told that it was 15 minute walk but it was actually 30 minutes away. It was 90 degrees and my friend and I are in our 70s. There was no shuttle service and we were not offered a ride. We kept walking but there was no sign to indicate that we were in the right place. We had to keep asking people and finally a staff person arrived. We weee told to stay put and a boat would come but there was no shade and the boat was late!! The cruise was good and the narrator was a lovely young woman who offered us water finally. At the completion of the tour we were STRANDED. No shuttle no bus no taxi to get us home in the heat. We finally stopped into a bar with 2 other stranded women and PAID A WAITRESS to drive us back to our hotel. Would not recommend

The change of meeting point was imposed by the Municipality of Como and was completely beyond our control. As clearly explained in our email, all boat tours in Como, not only GIMBUS tours, are now required to depart from this area. You were informed of this change well in advance, provided with the exact meeting point and clear instructions, and given the possibility to cancel your booking free of charge if the new arrangements were not suitable for you. A member of our staff was also present at the meeting point to welcome and assist guests. The absence of a shuttle service or dedicated transport is not something GIMBUS can control or provide, as transportation to and from the meeting point is not included in the experience. Guests who are unable to walk there can, of course, arrange a taxi. We are also surprised by the statement that you were "stranded" after the tour. The return transfer to your hotel was never part of the service booked, so we cannot be held responsible for providing one. Most importantly, you state that the cruise itself was good and that our hostess was lovely and helpful. We therefore find it unfair that the overall experience was given a negative rating because of circumstances imposed by the local authorities and completely outside our control. We understand that walking in hot weather was uncomfortable, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. However, we believe a review should reflect the service actually provided by GIMBUS. We communicated the change in advance, offered the possibility of cancelling free of charge, provided the precise meeting point, had a staff member there to assist you, and delivered the boat experience you booked. We are glad you enjoyed the cruise itself and hope this clarifies the situation for future guests.
Excellent guide and captain: Manuel and Nicolas. Comfortable boat satisfying my niece’s desire to go on a “sexy boat.” 1 hour was the perfect length. When we had trouble finding it, our guide called us 5 minutes before departure to navigate us to the right place. All very professional and very enjoyable. A strong recommend!
