Our guide took us to a great vegan restaurant where we had a delicious vegan lunch. Tour was well organized, seeing outdoor exhibits early before it got too hot.

Out of a 1 to 5 rating, I would rate this a 10. The experience could not have been better. Our tour guide was fantastic. He made the tour flexible and brought us to the best restaurant we visited during our entire vacation. I wish every tour could be this good

We were fortunate to have a private tour, just my husband and me, and our guide, Alexander, was absolutely amazing! Pickup at the port of Piraeus was flawless and we felt very well cared for. His knowledge of the history of Athens was incredible. He was also exceptionally energetic, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the day. Alexander made sure we had everything we needed. His transportation was clean, and comfortable, which made the day even more enjoyable. We loved all the sites, the extra history he shared, and our lunch stop at a traditional family restaurant in existence for 100 years. He truly made this experience special, making sure we saw as many of the highlights on our list as possible, including the Acropolis, Pantheon, National Archeologial Museum and several other sites, as well as providing tips for when we are on our own in the coming days. He dropped us (and our bags) at our hotel, which was so appreciated. We can recommend Alexander without hesitation, and wish him continued success!

The best way to experience Athens is with a customizable tour, an enthusiastic & knowledgeable guide like Alexander who spoke perfect English. Alexander share historical information on every site, Greek mythology and Greek language bits to breakdown words and meaning this giving us greater understanding of what we were about to see. His explanations were ahead of each segment of the tour with illustrations and maps so then we could go at our own pace and enjoy it- live the moment unlike some other tours where the guide was talking the whole time. Also, my wife has mobility issues so he was very attentive and supportive of her needs. Unfortunately, the elevator at the Acropolis wasn’t working due to gusty winds but since we had our own tour, she could take her time going up and that made a huge difference. After seeing the Acropolis, Agora, Temple of Seuss, changing of the guards, panoramic views of the city and taking pics with the Acropolis as a background my wife asked to be dropped off at the hotel. Then Alexander and I proceeded to the beach to enjoy the famous gelato and we finished at the Acropolis museum. It was a stupendous day!!! Oh, We got to experience so much more because Alexander reached out the day before the tour to confirm pick up location, and informed us it was free museum day so we went to the fantastic Anthropology museum!!! Best way to see Athens is with a private tour & with Alexander as your guide. Alexander shared with us a great deal of history & information about the sites, the city and Greek mythology and his picture book help illustrate his narrations. It was so wonderful to have a customized adventure with a tour guide who spoke perfect English and was full of knowledge and enthusiasm for all things Greek. We visited the Acropolis, Agora, temple of Seuss, went up a hill to enjoy the breath taking views of the city & the Acropolis/modern Olympic stadium etc. Enjoyed a traditional lunch away from tourist at our request. Then we dropped off my spouse who for medical reasons wanted to go back to the hotel. Then Alexander and I proceeded near the harbor for ice cream then to Acropolis museum. Alexander was fantastic as he was enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable, we were blessed to have him as our guide so we highly recommend him and his company.

It is a great way to see all that Athens offers in a day. Our driver/guide Alexander was incredible. He was prompt, courteous, enthusiastic, flexible, and knowledgable. He has an extensive grasp of Greek and Athenian history and he presented it in an entertaining manner. He was willing to modify the itinerary to meet our needs and expectations. We highly recommend this tour and Alexander.

Wonderful experience. Our driver, George, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history about Athens and Greece. He is personable, friendly, and an excellent guide. Highly recommend and we would definitely take another tour with Viator while visiting Athens.

Pants was an excellent guide, very informative and very knowledgeable. The Mercedes van was very comfortable for the six of us and he did an excellent job providing the history of Athens and Greece.
