OMG! Bill was fantastic. We felt safe, he told some history of where we were driving. He made great suggestions of places to go Especially Glenfarclas! He set up lunch reservations at a VERY nice bar/restaurant which the food was fantastic. We couldn't have gotten a better experience in Scotland. THANK YOU. I think we have the record though.. 18. 😁
My family and I had an amazing time on our private whisky tour. From my original inquiry on, I was guided on recommendations for what to book, when, and even given lunch recommendations. The day of we were picked up at our hotel. Lawrence was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, offering fun facts and side quests when time permitted. I couldn’t recommend this small, family-owned company more!
My family and I had an excellent day with Lawrence travelling through the highlands to see some of our favourite distilleries. Lawrence helped me plan the best route and ensured that we had all our tickets secured in advance. Day of, Lawrence picked us up at our BnB, got us to all our appointments on time, and showed us some great local spots. Would highly recommend planning your whisky tour with Lawrence!
Lawrence was a god send since the first time we spoke.We had another trip back out on us and he was able to save us and he gave us a wonderful experience.He was extremely thoughtful and helpful along the whole way.we enjoyed his banter and Wonderful stories.we had a special surprise at the end of our journey by a beautiful bridge to really cap things off.I can't imagine a better tasting experience in Scotland.I would definitely recommend this tour.

Lawrence was amazing and extremely helpful. He showed us around and gave us great advice. His knowledge of the area and history taught us a lot. I would recommend doing any tour from him. He helped us navigate the whiskey tours and was very prompt.

What an absolutely wonderful experience! Our day touring the distilleries of Speyside was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. From the very beginning, Laurence was fantastic. He helped us choose and book the various distilleries and carefully put together an itinerary that made perfect sense for the day. His advice and organization took all the stress out of the planning and ensured we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. And then there was Billy, our chauffeur for the day, who was simply terrific. From the moment he picked us up, he was warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Between distilleries, Billy shared fascinating stories and historical information about Speyside and Scotland, as well as great recommendations for restaurants, local attractions and places we might otherwise have missed. It felt like we were travelling with someone who genuinely loved the area and wanted us to experience the very best of it. Billy’s personality, knowledge and attention throughout the day made an already special experience even more memorable. The driving was comfortable, the suggested modifications to the itinerary flowed perfectly, and we never felt rushed. A huge thank you to Laurence and Billy for putting everything together and providing such a memorable day. If you are considering a private tour of the Speyside distilleries, we would recommend them without hesitation. Five stars all the way!

The brothers at Highland Private Tours are your one stop shopping in Inverness. They do sightseeing and whiskey tours. We did the Speyside Whiskey Tour with Lawrence and what an exceptional experience it was. On time pick up, expert knowledge of distilleries, great stop for lunch (The Highlander Pub), extremely flexible and was especially helpful about local lore, history and customs in the Highlands. We just wish we had booked with this company for our Culloden/Inverness tour because these guys outshine everyone. We can’t thank Lawrence enough for an exceptional whiskey line up.
