Portree runs out of take away lunch on the weekends so options are very limited. Maybe take your own. Guide was excellent as a guide and driver. We were pre-assigned the tearmost seats which was not awesome.

Though long, Andrew added some stops to break up the long drives. We were lucky the weather (rain) held off and it was a pretty good day for hikes and walking around town. I would only ask for more time at Portree so we can enjoy the city without being rushed. Andrew was a lovely guide and his story telling is legendary. He worked hard to keep us on schedule and through in additional visits when he could.

Ross was an excellent guide and a great storyteller.

Andrew was AMAZING ! He was fun and knowledgable. I would recommend doing the exact tour with WOW tours. They are a smaller more personal tour company. We saw ever stop in Sky and extra ones as well.

If you are considering this tour, book it without hesitation. If you are lucky enough to have Andrew as your tour guide, he will delight you! He is extremely knowledgeable and regaled us with tales of Scottish history. At the Fairy Pools, when I had concerns that I might not be physically fit enough to do the full hike, he loaned me a walking stick and accompanied me to an alternate fairy pool that was a much shorter walk (and manageable for me), but was still very beautiful with a waterfall and a babbling brook. He was able to know what we needed without having to ask. He was engaging and funny, and very caring. The stops were amazingly beautiful, just the right amount of time at each location, and Andrew was the “icing on the cake”. PS: if you book this tour, do not hesitate to pre-order the take-away lunch in Portree. It was delicious!

I cannot express enough how much of an incredible once in a lifetime experience this was. The beautiful views and stops that were made were enough for 5 stars on their own, but our guide Andrew really went far above and beyond and made it worth every single penny and then some. Andrew is not only and incredible and knowledgeable guide, but he's also a fantastic storyteller and comedian as well! We were worried a 12 hour trip would be a bit much but with Andrew at the helm we didn't want the trip to ever stop. He even gave us some fun little bonus stops! While you only stop for food once, the bakery that is partnered with the experience is absolutely delicious, filling, and well worth it! We got to see the best views in all of Scotland and hear about the beautiful history as well, I cannot recommend this experience enough!

Andrew at WOW tours made our Isle of Skye visit an enjoyable experience. A lot of history, storytelling, all while phenomenal driving on some tiny roads, skill, felt totally safe. I leave with good memories and wanting to learn more history. The hills, faerie ponds, and sea forever embellished in my mind. This company is small and local, my full support. Annette

A great way to see Isle of Skye without a car. Tour guide Andrew had a lot of history and stories about the locations to share, and was very knowledgeable about the area. Picked this tour because it included the Fairy Pools and that didn’t disappoint.
