Perfect day trip with a guide who knows what he is talking about!
I spent the entire day with Ricardo, visiting Poás Volcano, La Paz Waterfall and a coffee plantation. Everything was very well organized and there was plenty of time to enjoy each of the stops without ever feeling rushed.
Ricardo is a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. He takes the time to explain things properly and in great detail, for example during the coffee experience. He also kept a close eye on the weather conditions. Since we were visiting during the rainy season, he planned things so that we could spend as much time as possible indoors when the rain.
I would absolutely recommend this tour, and I would definitely recommend Ricardo as a guide!

Excellent experience from start to finish!!!
We were delighted with this tour. Our guide Charly is wonderful. He explains everything to you from the moment you are on the road, he shows you the important places in San Jose. The coffee tour is incredible from the plantations to drinking your cup of freshly ground coffee. Highly recommended!!!

Highly Recommend
We had the best experience! My 12 year old said it was a 10 out of 10... which says a lot. It was well organized, transportation was easy, lunch was great, and Ricardo was amazing. I highly recommend.

Amazing Tour, Unforgettable Experience!
Amazing tour. Great guide. Perfect weather. Luckiest group ever. The sky cleared right as we reached the volcano—what a meaningful experience! Our guide, Charly, was smart, funny, super informative, and truly taught us the heart of Pura Vida! Good tour company, definitely recommended.

Operator not recommended.
I bought the tour for my family.
Uncomfortable transportation.
But what really displeased me is that they DO NOT DELIVER what they promise: it describes the walk by the waterfall, and you only see it from the road.
I feel scammed.

Great tour!
My son and I had one day in San Jose and wanted something fun to do so we booked the volcano, coffee tour. We had the best experience! Charly was a great guide. We learned so much about the area and the coffee! Thankfully the weather was perfect just as we made it to the volcano. A big storm came in during lunch but it didn’t affect the experience at all. It was the perfect way to spend our day in San Jose! Thank you so much!
