We booked a boat for the whole day and got a comprehensive introduction to driving the boat. Afterwards, my girlfriend and I made the journey to the shipwreck beach on our own. Sadly, after taking our pictures, the boat’s motor wouldn’t turn on anymore. After some initial panic, I FaceTimed the rental company and we troubleshot the issue together. Unfortunately, nothing worked and we were stuck! Fortunately, Alex and Yannis immediately set off toward us and pulled us to the closest port. On the way back they practically gave us a private tour, which we really enjoyed. Alex and Yannis were calm and polite, and we had a great time. They are the absolute best! In the end, we received a full refund the same day. Alex and Yannis gave this somewhat stressful day the best possible ending and left us with unforgettable memories. I couldn’t be happier with their service. 100% recommend! PS: We spent part of the refund on cat food for the local stray cats and dogs.

We had such a brilliant experience with Blu Boat Rentals and would highly recommend them. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent. Before our original booking they sent us all the information we needed, including directions, parking details, and even helped when I asked where we could stop for supplies. Unfortunately, on the morning of our first booking the weather was too bad to go out, but they handled it so professionally. They called us early, explained the situation clearly, put safety first, and immediately sent us links so we could rebook with no stress at all. When we arrived for our rebooked trip, my partner was unwell, so it was just me and the children. I had never driven a boat before and I was really nervous. At first, taking in all the information felt a little daunting, but Yannis was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly patient and thorough, explained everything clearly, and really put me at ease. He even came out into the harbour with me first so I could practise and make sure I felt confident before we returned to the dock, he got off, and we headed out on our own. We had also arrived about 45 minutes early hoping to get some breakfast and coffee, but there was nowhere open near the pier. Yannis recommended somewhere that could deliver, gave me the phone number and helped me order. It arrived before we left for our trip. It might seem like a small thing, but it was another example of the team going that little bit further to help us. Another really useful touch was that the boat came with a cool box and ice pack, which was perfect for keeping our packed lunches and drinks fresh throughout the day. It made the whole experience even easier and meant we could just relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about food going warm. When we returned, Alex was there to help me dock the boat, which I really appreciated, and he also arranged a taxi for us afterwards. The price was fantastic too. On previous holidays we’ve paid more per person for organised group boat trips lasting around three hours than we paid to have our own boat for the whole day. Having the freedom to spend the day at our own pace, stop where we wanted and enjoy it just as a family made it such good value for money. I would definitely choose this over a crowded group boat trip again. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional, patient and incredibly helpful. They really went above and beyond, and what I initially thought might be quite a daunting experience ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday. I felt safe and looked after, but we also had the freedom to enjoy an amazing day out on the water together. Thank you so much to Yannis, Alex and the whole Blu Boat Rentals team. Everything was arranged perfectly from beginning to end. Picked up at the hotel, had a very good explanation and then enjoyed a few hours in the water. Can make multiple swimming stops. Upon returning, we were neatly dropped off at the hotel entrance. Nice experience and great staff! Recommendation!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GREAT COMPANY! Very straightforward and easy process, all safety rules where you can and cant go were explained to us. Where to anchor and where not to. We were recommended to go to the North of the Island as there was more to see this side. We visited shipwreck island and all other coves on the way back. Before going,you were given a written on map explaining speeds locations and how far to stay away from land etc. We were contacted on the way back to make sure everything was ok with our trip. We found Blu Boat Rentals on social media and booked online with a 50% deposit. When we arrived the remaining 50% was paid prior to setting off, and fuel paid at the end. There are no hidden costs! We had a very detailed and thorough briefing and training session and given opportunity to ask questions if needed before we set off with the boat for an amazing 4 hour trip. They provide you with a Google maps favourite locations to access via phone to know where to safely anchor the boat and swim - it was the highlight of our week in Tsilivi getting to travel around the caves and the beautiful bays in our own time and the privacy of our own boat! We went to the caves and returned via 5 more stop off points on just under a half tank of fuel which cost €40. I would highly recommend Blu Boat rentals to everyone and urge you to go for it if you want to see the island from the crystal clear blue waters and to have a memorable day out.

Perfect experience. Zakyntos is an island better to explore by boat. The places that can be reached by car are more crowded and are mostly located on the east part. However, the west part is better for exploring, swimming and diving.
