Had a wonderful time with Helvig on this tour! A great day exploring the island, she took us to see several highlights of the island at our own pace, while still being conscious of the time needed to be back to the cruise ship. She also helped us stop at a grocery store to pick up some things that weren’t easily available on our cruise ship. It was great to be shown the island by a lovely local guide! This was definitely one of the highlights of the excursions we did on our cruise, highly recommend!

Helvig was so experienced as she is from island. The experiences were wonderful as she explained in detail the difference places we visited. We would definitely recommend the trip to all.

This Curacao private tour was a great day and a highlight of our trip. Helvig was great to work with from pre-trip communication to showing up early for pickup right to the end of the day. As a lifelong resident, she is a wealth of knowledge on all things Curacao. She's willing to take you wherever you want and see whatever you want to see, but she's also available to make suggestions and point out additional options along the way. Before our trip, we indicated that we wanted to hike Mount Christoffel but based on our ship's arrival time and the driving distance, Helvig suggested that this may be too late a start. We took her advice, and she was right. It would have been far too hot and take too much of our day. So, like I said, she's willing to listen but has good suggestions. Instead, we started with a bit of a drive from the port to Shete Boka National Park for some amazing views and a little bit of trekking to the various coves. From there we took a quick visit to Grote Knipp to take a few pictures and dip our toes in the crystal blue water. After that, we visited a salt lagoon overlook with a quick stop to see wild flamingos. At that point, we were ready for lunch and I mentioned my wife really likes fried plantains. Helvig made a few suggestions then called to make a reservation and verify that fried plantains were available. Lunch was awesome with great local food and a beautiful view of the Queen Emma bridge and downtown Willemstad. Next was a walk through downtown with some light souvenir shopping. We only had one more request which was to tour the Curacao distillery and buy the traditional Blue Curacao liqueur, but Helvig suggested we enjoy the AC in the car and drive through the east side of the island. That was a great idea and we got to see a lot more including the newer (big money) housing being built in the Spanish Water district. We did finish up with a quick tour of the distillery before heading back to port. Full day was about 8:30am until a little after 4pm. If you've made it this far, don't hesitate to book this tour. Helvig is great. It's like having a knowledgeable local friend drive you around Curacao for a day and tell you all about the island and island life. Perfect, right?

Helvig was amazing as a tour guide. We learned so much history about Curacao, and she took us to some really great places, along with telling us one of the very best authentic meals to try while there. Would definitely recommend booking with her!

Fantastic private day tour of Curaçao with pickup and drop off at Sandals with Curaçao 360 Tours. Helvig drove us all over the island in her comfortable air conditioned car having previously asked what we might be interested in seeing. A lifelong islander, she was able to tell us all about the history, culture, nature and geology of what she showed us. An amazing trip, highly recommended

This was an amazing experience just for my husband and me. Helvig is so knowledgeable about the island. She sent us a itinerary ahead of time and asked to let her know if there were places we wanted to see other than those and we were able to customize it completely. She knows all the little out of the way places which gave a true look of the islnd from someone who grew up and raised her own children here. She also brought water and towels. She thought of everything and was an extremely delightful person! Highly recommend!!

Our tour guide made the trip spectacular. Here knowledge of the island and the culture having been born In Curacao made the tour that much more informative. He knowledge of the island allowed us to visit spots that were not tourist traps. We had a great time

Helvig took us on a full-day, full-island tour. She was terrific. Knowledgeable. Entertaining. Accommodating. It was our first day in Curacao, and we booked the tour to get ourselves oriented. It worked. Helvig showed us parts of the island that we otherwise would not have seen. We also scoped out various places that we could visit later. All along, Helvig filled us in on local history and current events. We swapped stories about our kids. It was a long, full day. As it was ending, Helvig even stopped at a supermarket to let us buy some provisions for our hotel room's mini-kitchen. Thank you!

I wanted this day to be special. I had been planning to propose to my now fiancé and booked a private tour of Curacao with Helvig and asked for a few custom touches, such as providing champagne and champagne flutes for the two of us and my parents, who joined us on the tour. Communication with Helvig was easy and prompt. We exchanged many messages and decided on the perfect spot (Fort Beekenburg) and all the necessary details. Any man who has planned a romantic, memorable proposal understands the amount of effort, worry and doubt that goes into it, but Helvig tremendously reduced all of these for me. The weather was beautiful, I mostly remembered what I had practiced for days saying and she said yes! Everyone had a terrific time and the other stops she recommended were all great, including the restaurant overlooking the beach and Kenepa Beach is a can’t-miss spot if you like beaches. She is a wealth of knowledge about the island! She even sent us over the pics she took during and after the proposal. Thank you for a wonderful time, Helvig!
