This business indicated availability of the 1 day guided tour on the web site and allows you to book the tour. Reality is they do not have the availability due to sold out entrance tickets to Machu Picchu. They will even accept the payment upfront if you want to pay. Then next day they inform you it’s not available and try to sell you a 2 day tour so you can go to the Ministry of Culture office a day before yourself and get the ticket and then take the guided tour with them. They are the only vendor who do not block availability dates so they can mislead and then sell you a 2 day tour which also is not guaranteed since you have to get the entrance ticket. Bad business practice.

Queremos aclarar con total honestidad que desde el primer momento en que tomamos conocimiento de la falta de disponibilidad de entradas para Machu Picchu, le informamos de inmediato y con total transparencia. En ningún momento fue nuestra intención generar una expectativa incorrecta. La alta demanda y la limitada disponibilidad de boletos —controlados exclusivamente por el Ministerio de Cultura— pueden cambiar rápidamente, incluso en cuestión de horas, lo cual lamentablemente está fuera de nuestro control.
Además, en un intento por ayudarle a cumplir su deseo de conocer Machu Picchu, le propusimos otras alternativas, incluyendo una opción de tour de 2 días que, si bien no garantiza el ingreso, abre la posibilidad de adquirir las entradas directamente en las oficinas del Ministerio el día anterior, como lo hacen muchos viajeros en situaciones similares.
Entendemos perfectamente su frustración y tomamos sus comentarios con mucha seriedad, ya que nuestro objetivo siempre ha sido brindar un servicio transparente, honesto y con vocación de apoyo real a nuestros pasajeros.

A Must Do- perfect day seeing an incredible Unesco treasure.
Machu Picchu is incredible. Our whole day was perfectly organized for us. Our private guide (Miguel) in Machu Picchu was knowledgeable, cautious and careful to check in with us throughout the hike on how we were doing with the elevation. The day was one of our best traveling days ever. Highly recommend this tour.

Stay couple of days in Cusco, to acclimatize to the high altitude and drink that drink plenty of Coca Tea.

Very good experience
Super recommended, we were picked up from the airport to take us to the hotel, the mobility that moved us to the tour super comfortable, the expedition on the train very good, and especially Machu Picchu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Flawless Visit to Machu Picchu!
Our Travel Advisor was 100% hands on! He met with us before our trip to fully review the itinerary to ensure we fully knew what to expect. Further, they were able to get us last minute tickets for an extra circuit at Machu Picchu where you can take the "classic" photo of the mountains. The trip went flawlessly. I would absolutely use this Travel Agency again.

Amazing! A+++ experience!
What an amazing experience using Illa Kuntur Travel agency. We were communicated clearly, met the day before and went over the step by step tour. The next day we did the actual tour and met private guide and wow did we have the most amazing experience! This team is amazing to work with. Thank you for such a flawless and smooth experience.

Amazing Experience!!!
There was a change on the original plan, nonetheless the Machu Picchu journey never disappoint. The instructions are pretty clear for a solo traveller that don’t speak spanish. Ricardo made sure that every step of the way is taken care of. I’d recommend Illa Kuntur Travel for future trips to Machu Picchu!

Incredible moments
Excellent itinerary, without long waiting times between transfers, the great guides carry out the tour without any rush, they even help you with the photographs, the taxi drivers are very friendly, the lodgings are quiet and safe, and for the visit to Machu Picchu, an excellent tour that allows you take the traditional photo. Excellent experience, 100% recommended, they make you feel cared for at all times.
