Khalid AlRaqadi made this one of the best guided experiences I’ve had. He took us through the Grand Mosque, Nizwa Souq and Fort, Bait Al Safah, and Al Hamra/Misfat Al Abriyeen, and at every stop his depth of local knowledge brought the history and culture to life in a way that made the day genuinely memorable.
What impressed me most was how attentive Khalid was to what we actually wanted to see and learn — he shaped the day around our interests rather than running through a fixed itinerary. He was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly proud to share Oman with visitors, and it showed in every stop along the way.
If you’re planning a trip to Oman, ask for Khalid AlRaqadi. He’s the kind of guide who turns a good trip into an unforgettable one.

Eye opening and amazing
Musab was an amazing tour guide. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. Also knowledgeable and was able to tell us the history of Oman. He went out of his way to ensure that we had an amazing trip and experience. He has become our friend :)

Nizwa
A great day out in Nizwa, starting with a visit to the old city and the fort, which offered fascinating insight into the region’s history and culture. The trip continued on to Al Hamra and Misfah, both of which were highlights with their traditional architecture and scenery. Our guide, Mohammed, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable.

Wonderful day trip to Nizwa and old town of Al Hamra

10/10 Oman experience
Our family had a wonderful 5 night trip in Oman. We booked our itinerary with Star Tour Oman and our guide:Khalid AlRaqadi was amazing! He catered our experience to our needs and was patient with our children. We had an amazing time hiking Wadi Shab, exploring Nizwa and touring through Muscat. Star Tour Oman was great and Khalid was professional and kind. Very knowledgeable about Omani history too! I would definitely recommend booking with Star Tour Oman. They can also cater the tour to whatever your desires or needs are!

Nizra - Al Hamra old village tour
