アル・ハムラ村はオマーンで最も保存状態の良い伝統的な村のひとつで、ハジャル山脈のふもと、ニズワの近くに位置しています。 何世紀にもわたる泥レンガ造りの家々、狭い路地、見事な山々を背景に、アル・ハムラはオマーンの歴史と文化の本格的な体験を提供します。 古代の泥レンガの家 アル・ハムラの家屋の多くは200～400年前に遡り、泥、石、ヤシのフロンドでオマーンの伝統的な建築様式を用いて建てられています。 現在も人が住んでいる家もあれば、廃墟と化した家もあり、美しく保存された史跡となっている。

Mr. Khalid reported at the Hotel at 9.20 am to take us to Nizwa fort. Our scheduled departure was at 9.30 am. He was very courteous and friendly. On our way to the Nizwa he was very friendly and enlightened us about Oman and Omani culture. We are all senior citizens plus and little slow in our movements but he was very patient and guided us through the Souk, Fort and the Castle museum. His commentary and knowledge on Oman’s history was fascinating. He guided us for our small shopping at the Souk and on our way to Al Hamara and Misfat village took us to a nice Yemeni restaurant for lunch. We were very happy with his services and wish him all the very best in his job as a tour guide.

Our trip to Wadi Hawr and the Wahiba Sands Desert was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, culture, and adventure. We had an amazing day exploring Al Hoota Cave, Misfat Al Abriyeen, and Bahla. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made history come alive with interesting stories and insights. Al Hoota Cave was a natural wonder cool and mysterious! Misfat Al Abriyeen stole our hearts with its ancient mud-brick houses and lush terraces, and Bahla's enormous fort was a true hidden gem. History, nature, and adventure all in one day! This tour had the perfect mix of culture and nature. Misfah Al Arbiyeen was stunning walking along the mountain paths lined with palm trees and listening to the sound of flowing water from the falaj system was so calming. Al Hamra was like stepping into a different era, and I loved seeing the traditional architecture up close. A great way to escape the heat into Oman's natural wonders.

Authentic and awe-inspiring We were blown away by the authenticity of Al Hamra and Misfah Al Arbiyeen. These villages still feel alive with tradition. We took so many photos stone houses, terraced gardens, and the iconic mountain views. Al Hoota Cave offered something completely different cool temperatures and fascinating rock formations deep below ground. Our guide made the day seamless and full of insights. It was one of our most memorable experiences in Oman.
