Letícia Sampaio was such a cool tour guide. Super chill and she laughed at Al of my dad jokes. I’ve never been on a tour that every single person went out of their way to tip her.

I felt that our stay in each are was too short. I suggest removing off one area (the cathedral) so that you may divide the minute allotment and add it on the remaining areas (Christ the redeemer, selaron steps and sugarloaf mountain ) that way there are more time to appreciate the area and do more picture taking and shopping with the area.

Alessandro our guide was awesome, the tour itself showing beautiful Rio, the pickup and drop off and the prompt WhatsApp communication before the tour was very helpful.

Needs much improvement in providing information about the sites. Would have also been interesting if guide shared information about the places/neighborhoods we were driving through to learn more about the city and the country; so that the drive to the sites was made more interesting rather than boring. Finally, the audio in the van was not very clear.

A busy day that lets you visit two iconic Rio landmarks in the same day. Quick transit through the lines at Christ the Redeemer in part due to the early start. Our guide made sure we were all clear in meeting times and gave us free time at each location.

I do NOT recommend C2Rio Tours & Travel and I was surprised by the poor response from Viator when I requested a partial refund. I have booked from Viator several times and always had great experience. Communication with this operator was horrible and we were explicitly lied to from the agency and received 0 communication from the tour guide on site with us. We missed the train ticket window for Christ the redeemer train so we had to wait 2 hours to get on the train. They told us it was due to a busy day, but the manager on site said we missed our 7:40 window and therefore had to wait in the line to be slotted in based on others that didn’t show. (We arrived at 7:40 when instructions were explicit to arrive prior to your time). The pickup was late and that’s why we missed it. The angency also gave us incorrect information about pickup options which resulted in us wasting time in the morning for a 6:20 departure that could have been 7:10 based on other stops. Furthermore the guide spoke 4 languages but we struggled to understand him in 2. Also - train is overrated. Pick the option that works for you time/budget wise. Best, Natalie

Newton was a great tour guide! Very sweet and knowledgeable. This tour checks off some of the main attractions in Rio de Janeiro... definitely worth booking!

Some stops were great some were not worth it. Picking up all the guests at their hotel was a little slow.

I signed up for a $200USD experience through Viator that was operated by C2Rio (a fairly well reviewed company). The experience was billed as a "small group tour" with early morning arrival for Christ the Redeemer and ample time at the "big sights." The bus was over 30 minutes late in picking me up (I was told to be ready at 6:35am; they didn't get me until well past 7am). When I tried to contact the company, I got zero response. As a solo traveler, this wasn't super reassuring. The guide's English was pretty limited, and she catered almost exclusively to the Brazilian tourists in the group. Which, by the way, was NOT a small group. It was 30 people (!!!) with three languages in the mix. The portuguese explanations were full and awesome, and for Spanish and English speakers, it was the bare minimum. The late pick up meant we were then late arriving to Christ the Redeemer, and so it was already packed. The promised "early morning arrival" was not so. And the rest of the day was then spent with the guide hurrying us through. Her high-stress approach rubbed off on the group. It just... wasn't fun. :( The lunch provided was barely edible - the last time I had a meal this bad while on a guided excursion was in Egypt in 2006. The idea was a Brazilian churascuria experience. The service was pretty good, but the food was terrible - the meat that was served were all end-cap cuts, full of gristle and fat. The venue showed its age and was packed full of ginormous tour groups. It was essentially a lunch mill for big bus groups. Hugely disappointing. Based on this experience I can't recommend C2Rio group excursions at all. I won't use them again.

Great tour. You get to see Rio’s highlights. Nice guides, good lunch. They pick you up. Well organized.
