ゴール/ミリッサ/ウナワトゥナ/ヒッカドゥワ発の1日ウダワラウェサファリ

Great way to see elephants and other animals in the wild! It was fun to stop at the Elephant Transit Home for feeding time, too, with the little elephants trotting around. Our guide Mahesh did a fine job finding the animals for us in the wild. In the park we saw numerous elephants and one was quite busy pulling down a tree to eat - really cool to see them doing their thing in their natural environment. Plenty of reptiles and birds there, too.

Great tour with Mahesh! We saw wild elephants, wild boar, crocodiles, spotted deer, land monitor lizards, water buffalo, and lots of birds. It's not as hot as I was afraid it might be because you make your own breeze riding around in the open air Land Rover. I let Mahesh know we were avid bird watchers and he adapted our private tour to spend more time on finding birds, which I greatly appreciated.

Our jeep driver had a brilliant eye for spotting smaller birds and creatures, he really was knowledgeable and stops regularly for photos. You see lots of elephants up close, colourful birds and monkeys. My advice is not to get caught up with taking loads of photos as my kids missed a mongoose and a glimpse of a crocodile as they were too concerned with taking pictures. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Transport to hotel was in a comfortable mini bus with friendly and safe driver.

The safari park was fantastic, mainly elephants and colourful birds, lots of cheeky little monkeys , also caught a glimpse of a crocodile and had so much fun ,the driver of our jeep had binoculars and was very knowledgeable. The minibus that collected from our hotel was comfortable , driver safe and friendly. I would highly recommend.

The tour was amazing. We got to choose the exact time we wanted to be picked up - Mahesh and his driver arrived on time, the car was great and the drive was enjoyable. When we got to the park, we saw elephants, deer, crocodiles, various types of birds, monkeys and more. Our driver during the safari was extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots of info about the animals. We were able to customize the tour and leave at the time we wanted. Absolutely amazing highly recommend!

Mahesh and his team took us in an amazing safari to Udawawala (when Yala was flooded) and we saw SO much wildlife in a short time. The vehicles were always in great condition and comfortable for our family, they had great recommendations on local spots to stop at and on the days we rented the vans for beach excursions they were also very adaptable to our preferences and came up with new ideas and options along the way. Highly recommend the team for their warm hospitality and great service

From the airport pick up in Colombo to take us to Galle, the tour to Udawalawe National Park to see elephants and then driving us back to Colombo, Galle Tours and Travels was excellent in every way. If you are lucky enough to have the tour arranged and taken by Mahesh you will be in for a treat. He is an excellent driver, courteous on the road and my wife and I felt totally comfortable with his driving over the 2 days we were with him. The vehicle was well maintained, air conditioned and very comfortable. He organised a guided tour through the Udawalawe National Park and everything went very smoothly. He even organised for a surprise afternoon treat which was a really special touch. The best thing for us was that he tailor made the tour to what we wanted and then threw in a couple of extras that he thought we would enjoy. This company and in particular Mahesh, is all about the customer - we can not speak more highly of Galle Tours and Travel and would highly recommend them if you are in Sri Lanka.

The driver was able to come and collect me at short notice, he was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable in the car journey. I was able to see everything I wanted to see and was taken to an elephant sanctuary after the safari tour to watch the feeding of young elephants. I recommend to anyone wanting to see the wildlife of Sri Lanka!

We had the most wonderful experience with Mahesh and his team. We had a lovely vehicle from Galle to Udawalawa National Park and saw so much wild life with a very experienced safari driver who pointed everything out to us. Would definitely recommend Mahesh for all your trips in and around Galle.
