We used this company for Udawalawe Safari Private Day Trip with Lunch - All Inclusive. What a day our driver lahiru was very punctual and was waiting to pick us up 15 mins before due. Very safe driver. The trip it's self was excellent just the 2 of us in the safari jeep you don't have share a jeep the amount animals we seen was insane. Elephants walking no more than 4 feet away. Lunch was very tasty nice little buffet in a restaurant and the elephant transit sanctuary and feeding was great. Can not recommend this trip enough. Outstanding service

We chose the private tour with Bentota Travel Mart.This meant we were picked up by Dinesh at our hotel at 4.15am ,with no other passengers involved.We,arrived at Udawalawe by 6.00am,where we were transferred to a jeep with an experienced driver/ guide.Great morning out (6.00 till 10.00am)seeing many animals on the way.no big herds of elephants ,but this is not a zoo so the herd can travel vast areas .we were lucky enough to see quite a few individuals though. After the tour we visited the baby elephant orphanage and then had lunch.we arrived back at our hotel for about 2 .30pm. Another early start but well worth it.! I just have to say that I have heard of lots of jeeps descending on the park.on our visit this was not the case,.

Incredible experience. Very cool safari with countless elephant sightings.

We chose to do the early start for this trip... A comfortable drive we excellent driver Dinesh. We arrived at the safari for sunrise and saw elephants croadiles painted storks a golden jackal and lots of colourful birds safari guide was very knowledgeable and was quick to point things out to us... After we went on to the elephant transit home. We arrived on time for the feeding of the elephants and they are doing a great job preparing the animals to go back to the wild. Bentota travel mart did a great job.. All ran perfectly to time and with no rush or stress. Great company we will definitely use again

Amazing experience, driver was very knowledgeable of the area and wildlife. Saw 10 elephants, crocodile “, 2 eagles, plenty of water buffaloes and some exotic birds and some monkeys. Didn’t see any leopards but that did not affect our amazing experience. Totally recommend this trip

Overall, a great experience – everything went as expected. The driver (Lahiru) picked us up from the hotel well in advance. At the destination, a safari guide/driver was waiting for us, and we were able to set off on the safari in good time. The safari was amazing. The guide was professional and knowledgeable. He was able to identify all the animals, including every single bird. The guide had binoculars with him, which we were able to use. The animals were treated with respect. The Elephant Transit Home was also a wonderful experience. Lunch near the safari area was good, and the service was friendly.

Our Udawalawe safari experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Sam communicated with us clearly and efficiently, making everything smooth and stress-free from the very beginning. Our driver and guide, Dinesh, provided exceptional service throughout the entire safari. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure we had the best possible experience. Seeing the elephants up close in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable — an experience we will cherish forever. We also saw plenty of other wildlife, especially so many peacocks, which was amazing to witness. Overall, this was an outstanding safari and an incredible trip to remember. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Udawalawe!

Thoroughly enjoyed this well organised experience which was personalised to our requirements. The service was absolutely spot on. We were collected in our own luxury seven seater with air con from the hotel at 4am (a necessary early start to get the best from the park), arriving safely at the park where we picked up our jeep safari with driver (who was superb - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and incredibly sharp eyed, spotting creatures that even when we stopped to take a closer look we couldn’t always immediately see!!). After spending a few hours in the park where we saw all of the animals and birds in close proximity, we had an excellent buffet lunch and were then taken to the elephant sanctuary. We returned to the hotel around 2.30pm - a truly excellent and highly recommended experience!!

Great day with our excellent tour guide Anura! We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, deer, water buffalos, eagles, moongooses and many different birds. Great experience that we can highly recommend.
