夜のフンシャル: ダウンタウン・サイドカー・エクスペリエンス

We booked a sidecar ride to visit Funchal and the surrounding area in the evening. The contact for the reservation was very professional and efficient. Our guide was Nuno. Very punctual, he came to look at the hotel. The headsets were equipped with a microphone sound system, really great for receiving explanations while riding and interacting with the rider. I should like to point out that Les explications are in French, a must for us·. Nuno knows the city and its unusual places perfectly, we have made several neighborhoods, received full of historical, economic and cultural information about Funchal and the island of Madeira. We feel that Nuno is a true enthusiast of the island and his motorcycle. We climbed up to a magnificent viewpoint to watch the sunset over Funchal, and we were able to choose our vantage point to finish the walk. Congratulations to this team for their sympathy and professionalism, if we return to Funchal we will test another ride.

We had an experience that looked more like a scene from a vintage movie, it was really fantastic! The feeling of having the air beating in the face while we knew the beautiful city of Funchal...passing in the middle of the typical streets and soon after seeing the more cosmopolitan area gave to realize the contrasts that, no doubt, are best appreciated when doing this tour. Filipe was super friendly and attentive, showed us the city from end to end while telling us details and curiosities of his city. The views we had from above were fabulous ;-) Without thinking twice I would repeat this experience, I recommend to those who visit the island!

This evening trip in and around Funchal by motorbike and sidecar was one of the shore tours offered by our Fred Olsen cruise ship and for me and my two adult daughters it really was an evening to remember. The bikes went at just the right speed for enjoyment and our friendly, informative guide ensured that we had long enough at the various view points to admire the stunning coastline as the sun was setting. The souvenir photos provided after our trip were a nice touch too. Next time we are in Madeira and hopefully with more time at our disposal, we would have no hesitation in booking one of the other Madeira Sidecar Tours.

Original and unforgettable visit in Funchal. Not only is the side coach tour an experience in its own right, but Filipe also made us discover the city with sympathy and enthusiasm. We highly recommend. He also speaks English and French.

We had the chance to discover Funchal (historical center, old town,...) alongside Filipe, our driver and guide for the evening, who told us many very interesting things about Madeira and made us discover magnificent views of Funchal at night at less touristic places! Plus, a super original means of transport. Little magic moment, Thank you Filipe!
