Wonderful trip with a fabulous guide! Ramon was on time for pick up with a nice clean van. Ramon was raised in Barcelona and knew everything about its history. Ramon told us much about the history of Barcelona on our trip to Montserrat. But it’s important to note he also didn’t overwhelm us with info. Ramon knew everything about Monserrat and did a nice job of leading us through. There was allot more hiking available than I thought, but it’s not necessary if you don’t want to. We took the funicular to the top, where there was a great hike to a church. I highly recommend this trip and ask for Ramon. This trip we booked on our own through Viator and it was less expensive than other sites.

The tour is about Montserrat only. Little conversation about Barcelona or other Spanish history, even though we were in the car for an hour each way.

Joan was an excellent personal guide. His experience gave us an edge on seeing the best of Montserrat in a short time. A big improvement over a group tour. We would highly rate him.

Our private tour to Monserrat with Lluís was wonderful and enjoyable. He is extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the significance of everything inside and outside of the Monastery. Our drive to Monserrat was great also as Lluis talked about the history of Spain. If you are planning a tour, I highly recommend Lluis.

She explained everything to us in detail and cleared up all our doubts; she knows everything. She gave us the flexibility to adapt the tour to our pace and our interests. You can perceive the interest she has in learning as much as possible about the places so she can then pass it on. Without a doubt, I would do this tour and others with her again. 100% recommended. Montserrat, for its part, is a spectacular place that is very much worth it for the views, the conglomerate of rocks, the cable car, and the Abbey of Montserrat.
