This tour was generally disappointing, and given how expensive it was, a huge rip off. We paid approximately $750 for what was advertised as a private tour of Barcelona. We reasonably envisioned being picked up by a private car with a driver who would guide us through the major sites of Barcelona. What we received was a series of taxi drives with a guide who hailed the taxis and dropped us off at the major sites to navigate them on our own. (On the plus side, we did very much enjoy the limited time we got to spend with our guide!) This meant that we walked through the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and other sites on our own, unaccompanied by a tour guide, and thus had to figure out how to navigate them and understand what was happening ourselves. That’s how we normally travel, but it was crazy to spend $750 to do precisely what we normally do, so it very much felt like throwing money away. And, to make matters worse, the tour company never even informed us (or offered to book) the elevator up the spire of Sagrada Familia, which was already sold out by the time we got there. None of this was our guide’s fault (who again was lovely), but rather is a structural problem with how this tour operates.
This was an incredible tour! Steven was an incredible guide! 10/10 recommend this, and please request Steven, you won't regret it!!!!!!
It was THE BEST experience i have ever had with a tour guide. The price was cheap and definitely worth it. Steven was our tour guide and we had so much fun! He was super interactive and although we stayed a few hours, i wish we stayed for the whole day. The crowds were big but he helped us navigate throughout them easily, wasting no time. He was super adaptable to the heat, taking places with shade. If you could book, book with Steven.
The trip was good. Lasted a while which gave us a chance to visit as much as possible. Miquel was a great tour guide. Definitely recommend
