Our Game of Thrones tour was absolutely awesome! From the very beginning, we knew that our tour guide, Chema, was a true GOT fan—just like we are. On the drive to Girona, we had a wonderful time discussing different characters, storylines, and memorable moments from our favorite show. It was the perfect way to begin the day. When we arrived in Girona, we were disappointed to learn that a few of the Game of Thrones filming locations were not accessible to tours during our visit because Disney was filming the live-action version of “Tangled” in the area. However, Chema didn’t let that dampen the experience. He took us through the beautiful streets of Girona and showed us as many GOT filming locations as possible. One of our favorite parts of the tour was that Chema had brought photographs from the show with him. He used them to help us compare the locations as they look today with the scenes we remember from Game of Thrones. It made the experience so much more interesting and brought the show to life in a very special way. We also really appreciated that Chema shared so much of Girona’s history with us throughout the tour. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience about much more than just Game of Thrones—we got to appreciate the fascinating history and beauty of Girona as well. On our drive back to the hotel, Chema was also kind enough to recommend some local restaurants where we could enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine. We really appreciated his recommendations and his willingness to share his knowledge with us. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this Game of Thrones tour to other fans. And if you have the opportunity, **ask for Chema as your guide!** His enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine love of Game of Thrones made our experience truly memorable.

Chema was such a great tour guide! Lively, informative, funny, engaging, personable, I can keep going. We saw so many game of thrones shooting locations throughout Girona. The city is beautiful even if you’ve never seen the show. We walked through the very and very very old part of the city, saw the famous Shame Steps, saw where Arya fights blind on the streets of Bravos, and learned so much about both Game of Thrones and the history of Girona. I highly recommend this tour, make sure you go with Chema!!

I totally recommend this experience. I booked a private tour for my fiancé’s birthday to Girona, Spain. Aleix was our tour guide and he was great. It was amazing to have our own personal tour guide without other crowds. Aleix picked us up from our hotel in Barcelona which was great! Aleix showed us all the hidden gems of Girona and made my fiances birthday experience amazing. I would totally book this experience again.

Our guide Chema made the tour superb. His knowledge of the series and the town of Girona was brilliant. Had some money extras that made the day special. A must tour when you visit Barcelona.

What a great day! Chema was our guide and he picked us up at our hotel. He was a great driver full of interesting knowledge of Spain and its history. Our walk through Girona old town/Braavos and was great. Not only did he share pictures of the making of game of thrones he shared the history of when it was filmed. It was a great day we will never forget.

Fantastic tour with Chema! We have participated in many tours in many countries, and he is one of the best guides. Definitely exceeded our expectations! On time pickup at the hotel- pleasant, great sense of humor and extremely knowledgeable about the country as well as Girona and nearby locations. His background in the film industry was a real plus in that he was able to convey additional insight into exactly how various scenes were created. Chema provided much detail and went out of his way to be accommodating to us. He brought the show alive again! He also shared a lot of history on Spain and the areas we were driving through,and offered to show us another scenic part of the area on our way back. Even if you aren’t a huge Game of Thrones movie buff as we are, the history of the area , the architecture and the background and color commentary that Chema provided was well worth the trip. We would highly recommend this tour and Chema!

We had such a fantastic time with Manu! He was our Game of Thrones and Girona expert, and we truly felt lucky to have him as our trusted guide. His ability to anticipate our needs and match our energy was simply amazing. We had so much fun because Manu is incredibly talented and kept us entertained the whole time. We absolutely adore him! And Girona? Just stunning!
