Interesting places to visit. Xavier seemed to really be passionate about providing us a quality tour. He went over and above to see we had an enjoyable time.
An excellent way to get to know places like Vic or Besalú, masterfully led by Xavier. Highly recommended.
Our day with Dulce was exceptional. She is a very friendly and personable lady but it is her knowledge of the history, culture and geography of the areas visited that stood out. Dulce provided a brief geological history as it pertained to the history of the areas, since first settlement of these rich agricultural areas. Her explanations of successive cultures and their connection to the environment were rich with stories and factual accounts. The day was fascinating and the villages beautiful. If not for the odd car, we could have been visitors in the Middle Ages. Thankyou Dulce for a wonderful day and for imparting some of your knowledge of Catalonia. My wife and I were picked up by our guide, Dulce, and driver Kosta. We spent the day visiting 3 towns then onto Besalu. We were both impressed with Dulce's knowledge and passion, not only about the history but also the geography and humanity of the peoples who once inhabited these places. My wife has a PhD in human geography and enjoyed knowledgeable conversation with Dulce. We also thank Kosta for getting us to and back safely.
This trip was very enjoyable and definitely worth recommending! Thanks to our guide Dulce and driver Rogelio for a wonderful day. We saw beautiful medieval cities and we got a lot information about the history. Everything was good and nice that the group was not big and big plus for picking up at the place where I stay.
We loved our trip! Gaspar was our tour guide and from the moment we met him, we felt like we were with an old friend. Gaspar picked us up from our hotel right on time and we were off on our adventure. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and you can tell that Gaspar genuinely enjoys sharing his beautiful country with visitors. The sites on this tour, themselves, are incredible and were not crawling with tourists. Instead, we were able to enjoy ancient Roman ruins, medieval towns, and beautiful natural surroundings. We are a family of six with four teenagers and there are enough photo opportunities to satisfy even the most ardent Instagrammer. After giving us the lay of the land, Gaspar gave us time at each stop to explore and he took us to a terrific spot for lunch. I recommend this tour and Gaspar wholeheartedly and if I weren't leaving tomorrow, I would absolutely sign up for another tour.
