Wonderful tour guide smart and so many more traits, he was so helpful with information !
Having our tour guide explain everything to us is a gift to have ! I would have not known a lot of history if I did not hire my tour guide !

Family trip to Temple of Poseidon
What an amazing experience! Our driver was prompt, extremely nice and provided us a great history lesson! He was great with our kids and an excellent driver. We rode from Athens proper to Cape Sounion and had an earlier dinner. We were then dropped at the Temple and had an amazing sunset experience. We stayed until the Temple closed and were driven home with the kids able to watch a video on Athens history, which was helpful for our next days sites. Very happy with our experience!

Beautiful Evening at Poseidon's Temple
Our private sunset tour to Poseidon's temple was fantastic. Our driver was on time and the vehicle was so nice. We had a scenic drive, golden hour and sunset at the site, and dinner at a lovely waterside tavern. Definitely one of the best sunsets I have seen.

Wonderful family trip to Sonunion in the evening!
Sounion such a beautiful place and so nice to have a nice van and wonderful driver to get us out there and even some great secret spots for great photos along the way. topped off with a private dinner at a local restaurant on way back. Excellent time for the family!

Relaxed and nice evening
We had a wonderful time. Stopped a really good restaurant on the way and saw the sunset. Driver was great and vehicle was very nice.

Timing the crowd is key....
Timing the crowd is key. Jimmy adjusted our trip to put us there ahead of the “sunset” bus tours, and it made an enormous difference. We had no line going in and passed a huge line going out.

The drive along the coast...
The drive along the coast was beautiful! We had a delicious dinner of Greek salad, fish, and shrimp. Highlight was sunset and our driver, Panos. He was amazing and so nice. We learned so much about Greece. Wonderful time!

Awesome tour!
Private tour with a few stops, at our own pace. Excellent driver! Really enjoyed the tour and the dinner on the way home! Sunset at the temple amazing!

There are probably better ways to get to Cape Sounion.
Basically just a car service to Cape Sounion. I booked for 4pm which I guess was too early? So we had to stop for dinner at 5 on the way not on the way back, as advertised. The sunset at the Temple of Poseidon was at 8:24 pm. So we didn’t need to get there until 7:30. Not sure why we weren’t told that. The dinner spot was fine. Great people and the food was good, but not a place I would have chosen on my own. There were other seemingly more interesting places in the area. Our driver was nice, but quiet. We didn’t expect a tour guide, but some of the other reviews mention drivers who were talkative and informative.
Overall definitely worth going to Cape Sounion and the temple of Poseidon. That said, this was just hiring a driver to get there. Not sure we needed to spend 500 to do that and then an addition 300+ for dinner at 5pm.

Regarding your comments, we acknowledge that the tour starting time of 16:00 was not ideal for catching the sunset on that particular date. In hindsight, a later departure time should have been recommended by our team to ensure a better overall experience. We regret this oversight.
Given the original timing, having dinner before reaching the Temple became necessary to stay as true as possible to the itinerary and to ensure you could still experience the sunset there. While we understand your criticism, we would like to note that the decision regarding the starting time was made by you.
We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the restaurant’s service and the food provided. Delivering authentic cuisine and warm, genuine hospitality is always our goal when suggesting dining options. That said, we’d like to emphasize that our restaurant recommendations are always optional. If you had preferred another dining option, this could have been discussed directly with your driver.
Regarding your experience with the driver, we will follow up on this internally to better understand his perspective and assess the situation more thoroughly. While we appreciate that you described him as “nice,” we also want to understand more deeply why you felt the overall experience lacked the depth you expected.

Jimmy was a great tour...
Jimmy was a great tour guide! Loved his personality and knowledge of Greece! He took us to a great restaurant on the water and food and people were amazing! He also was a good driver! Next time we are Athens we will call him for another tour!!
