ポーランド南東部の小さな古代の村ザリピーは、間違いなくこの国のトップの観光名所の 1 つです。五つ星ホテルや巨大なガラス張りの建物があるからではなく、逆に、最も鮮やかな色で塗装された小さな木造のコテージがあるからです。 ザリピーの人里離れた村には、魅力的な伝統があります。 100 年以上前、村の女性たちは家にペンキを塗り始めました。しかし、それは伝統的で保守的な社会に期待される単一の均一な色ではありませんでした。

Zalipie - カラフルな村は、家々の装飾で有名で、壁やストーブに陽気な絵が描かれ、ちりめん紙の花、切り紙のデザイン、干し草のクモが飾られています。この伝統は、19 世紀末からポヴィシレ ドンブロフスキエ地域に存在しています。花は、農民のコテージや農場の建物の外壁、フェンス、井戸、さらには犬小屋にも描かれました。 Zalipie には現在、塗装された家が 20 軒ほどあります。このオリジナルの民芸品の最もよく知られている例は、フェリシア クリロワ (現在はタルヌフの地区博物館の分館) の邸宅です。ザリピエの画家で、その絵は戦間期にすでに知られていました。 ツアーでは、数多くの装飾された家、博物館、ユニークな手作りのお土産を扱う小さなショップを見ることができます。

There were ongoing renovations throughout the city, and the main church was also under repairs. Many of the roads were closed and our driver had to find other routes (of which two others were also blocked). Some of the private homes which are part of the tour were also not ready to receive visitors. The museum did not have any electricity, so we were unable to tour even that. As tour operators, they should have been aware of these issues. (Our vehicle and driver, Mr Chris, were fantastic, and this needs to be mentioned)
