This was a fabulous choice for us. Our tour guide Ryoko customized our day based on what we wanted to see. She listened to our needs and customized a tour that was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, and we loved spending the day with her.

Unfortunately, this private half-day tour in Yokohama was the biggest disappointment of our trip. Our guide, Masa, seemed more focused on getting from one location to the next than actually providing a guided experience. It’s one of the quietest tour as he some very little. For most of the tour, we simply followed him as he walked ahead at a brisk pace, often without checking to see if we were keeping up or even still behind him. Because there was so little commentary or interaction, it didn’t feel like a guided tour at all. We left feeling that we would have learned more and enjoyed ourselves more by exploring Yokohama on our own at our own pace. Perhaps others may have a different experience, but ours lacked the engagement, storytelling, and personal attention we expect from a private tour. I can’t recommend it based on our experience.

Kahori was an excellent tour guide. We also worked on her English along the tour. She was very informative.

Had a very nice tour with Seizo Kamiuto. It was raining hard at the appointment time and he nicely agreed to delay the start by 2 hours so that we could avoid the rain. We saw the Sankeien Garden, Chinatown , and the waterfront Yamashita Park. Seizo is very knowledgeable and gave us easy to understand descriptions of the area and Japan’s history. Also took us on a city bus and the subway so we added to the variety of transportation modes we have used in Japan. All-in-all an excellent tour!

Shinji took us around as we requested, very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us how to ride local buses and trains.

Masa was a great guide. We were able to see highlights of Yokohama all within walking distance from our hotel.

We had a great tour today with Takako She really individualized our tour and took us to all of the best sites She's very knowledgeable, and her English is perfect. We really appreciated her efforts to find us some local art and take us to some beautiful gardens. We highly recommend her as a guide.

After disembarking from a Japan cruise, we had time to explore Yokohama prior to our flight home to USA from Haneda airport. Our guide, Seizo, helped us plan the itinerary and informed us months prior to the cruise line that the pier we were disembarking from was different from the pier we started the cruise in Yokohama. He met us at the pier and took us to a bus terminal where we stored our luggage in lockers and when the tour ended, take an airport limosine bus to the international terminal for only 800 Y per person. He assisted us in recharging our PASSMO IC cards with enough of a balance for the buses and train used that day and made sure we knew exactly where to be for the airport transfer. We went to Sankeien Garden, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Then to Chinatown and had a delicious lunch. Finally we walked around Yamashita Park before returning to the bus terminal. He spent nearly 5 hours with us and provided the history and culture we wanted to learn about this city in a way that was highly enjoyable.
