Our guide, Danda, was the best. We took trains and busses to get to Kawagoe and Danda made it seem effortless. He is friendly, smart and well informed. He was able to lead us on a half day adventure chock full of interesting sites and tasty delights. We enjoyed our time and adventure so much we would have done more if we had not made prior commitments. We asked him for particular shopping advice near our next day excursion and he replied to my email with the best shop ever. We found exactly what we were in the market to buy.

Tokyo walking tour
Our guide Motoko was so polite & engaging. She customised the tour around things we enjoy and took us to a traditional Japanese restaurant for lunch which we would never have found.
We only had a couple of days in Tokyo so wanted to make the most of it. I would highly recommend this tour & Motoko if you are in the same position.

Cool Edo Tour
I highly recommend this tour! Show was a great guide and very passionate about all things Japan. He is also friendly and accommodating and will tailor the day according to the plan you want you just pick from the choices . You also get the public transport experience in Japan along with seeing a town very much alive in the Edo period.

Super sugoi tour
Tak-san was very knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond for us when he didn't have to.The sights were breathtaking and unbelievable a dream come true

Amazing day in Kawagoe
We had an amazing day with Masa, he was so informative and we learned so much about this beautiful city. We had lunch in a tiny Japanese restaurant and the food was delicious. Masa was very thoughtful and friendly we really enjoyed our tour with him. This is a great company and would do another tour with them again.

Not on a weekend
The town may be overrated and Saturday is a tourist mob scene. The original buildings are blackened and turned into shop houses. Our tour guide was nice but a bit under informed on transport, and language skills needed sharpening.
We did get some superb handmade udon that was about worth the trip.

Wonderful visit to Kawagoe
During our stay in Tokyo, I booked this tour to get us out of the busy city, and to have a more relaxed tour. One of the best benefits of this tour was that our guide (Taka) met us at our hotel and got us to Kawagoe by train. Being new to Japan's metro and train system, this was a life saver. Looking back on the day, I think getting out to Kawagoe and back to Tokyo would have been a little challenging without Taka's guidance. Taka was very attentive and provided an excellent tour. Throughout the day, he ensured it was a memorable experience from seeing the sites of interest, giving us time to do a little shopping, and taking us to a wonderful place for lunch. Taka was an exceptionally knowledgeable and informative guide who paid close attention to our needs. With another trip to Tokyo planned for next April, I would eagerly book another tour with this company, and I hope to have Taka as our guide once more.

I found a good news that Japan number plates for automobile which are obsolete and no longer use could be obtained and saved on hand, which is newly announced by our transportation ministry. If you have a chance coming back to Japan, I'm glad to arrange some for you which can be shown/placed on your garage wall.

A View Of The Past…
Excellent Tour from the hotel pickup through Kawagoe & return to the hotel. Our guide Mr. Isao took our mobility limitations into consideration, walking slowly & helped us avoid up - down stairs, using only elevators & escalators.
We experienced the old buildings, a shrine, tasted local candies & had an excellent lunch!
I highly recommend Mr. Isao Kito as a tour guide to his home town Kawagoe.
