美穂の松原は古くから富士山を眺める素晴らしいスポットとして知られています。富士山、そして日本の伝統的な浮世絵にも登場しました。 7kmの海岸線には約30,000本の松の木があり、それらを超えた富士山は、古くから日本を代表してきたものです。とき富士山は世界遺産に登録されており、三保の松原もその一部に含まれていました。海岸には、天使が訪れたといわれる松の木、羽衣の松もあります。
久能山東照宮は、徳川家康に捧げられた神社であり、約400年前に戦争によって何世紀にもわたって分割され、江戸幕府を設立した後、日本を統一しました。神社は高さ216mの山の上にあります日本平の久野。そこへ行くには、日本平からロープウェイで行くゴンドラがおすすめです。そこでは、Sur河湾と境内から伊豆半島までの景色を見ることができます。神社で敬意を表し、色とりどりの装飾が施された建物を楽しんだら、甲noやヘルメットなど徳川家に関連するさまざまな宝物を見ることができる九ノ山東照宮博物館に立ち寄ってください。 神社ビルへの入場料：500円/大人、200円/小学生、中学生;博物館への入場料：大人400円、小学生および中学生150円 ※神社と博物館の共同券：大人800円、小学生および中学生300円

静岡浅間神社は、神戸、浅間、おとしみやの3つの神社の総称です。広大な境内に立つのは、鮮やかな朱色の楼門、大拝殿、神戸神社、浅間神社などの壮大な神社の建物です。家康公を動かしたといわれる「ちご舞」は、4月の恒例の祭りであるHat日会に捧げられます。境内には今川家と徳川家の貴重な資料が保存・展示されている静岡市文化財博物館があります。
駿府城公園は、静岡市の中心部にある旧駿府城の敷地内に作られた史跡です。 元々は16世紀後半に築城され、後に徳川幕府の開祖・徳川家康の隠居所となった城。 現在では、東門や辰巳櫓などの復元建造物や、のどかな庭園、開放的な芝生、散策路が整備されている。 城の歴史に関する展示を探索したり、四季折々の花を楽しんだり、都心の落ち着いた雰囲気を体験したりすることができる。 歴史好きはもちろん、徳川時代の遺産を学びながらのんびりと休憩したい人にもうれしいスポットです。
富士山世界遺産展は、2013年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録された富士山の文化的、歴史的、精神的意義を探る博物館です。 富士山が霊峰であると同時に、日本の永続的なシンボルである理由にスポットを当てた展示です。 館内では、富士山の地質や日本語の芸術・文学に与えた影響、何世紀にもわたって続く山岳信仰の伝統などを学ぶことができます。 インタラクティブな展示や映像、模型で、この山が日本語文化をどのように形成してきたのか、そしてなぜ「卓越した普遍的価値」のサイトとして認知されたのかを説明する。 日本を象徴する山に潜む深い意味を理解したい人にとって、有益で魅力的な場所です。
富士山本宮浅間大社は、全国1,300社を超える浅間神社の総本社であり、富士山信仰と深い関わりがあります。 南西麓の富士宮市にあり、富士山と火山噴火から守り神とされる木花咲耶姫を祀る、何世紀にもわたる聖地である。 優雅な伝統建築と穏やかな雰囲気、そして国の天然記念物に指定されている「和玉池」と呼ばれる美しい湧水池が特徴。 歴史的に富士登山の正式なスタート地点となった神社であり、現在も文化的、精神的ランドマークとして重要な神社である。 訪れると、安らぎの空間が広がり、日本の富士山信仰の長い歴史に触れることができる。

Even though we did not actually get to see Mount Fuji due to the July heat and humidity, this half day excursion was well worth it. The Shizuoka region has a lot to offer beyond mountain views, and our knowledgeable guide Yasu took us on an a memorable tour of shrines and temples, Tokugawa Ieasu's burial site, shopping areas, and Japanese gardens; all surprisingly quiet without a lot of tourists. We also had a lovely lunch at a small restaurant. If you do not mind walking quite a bit, this tour is a great way to see the sights of Shizuoka.

I have been wondering whether you were able to have baked eels at the restaurant that evening since we left each other. I ate it on the 26th this month, or the designated day as a eel's day. I wish I could give 4.5 stars! Ikuyo was a great guide very communicative before our trip and helped us plan. Our stop at the tea farm seemed a little superfluous (we selected it but did not realize there was not really much to do there.) She kept us on a great time schedule and was helpful in arranging taxis. This is not a tour that is great in the rain but of course this was out of everyone’s control. However most activities were outside and/or focused on seeing Fuji-San so if going in rainy season know you may be disappointed. She was kind and knowledgeable and her English was excellent!
We had a fantastic day with Mika in Shimizu. Mika picked us up at the cruise terminal and showed us the beautiful sights nearby. The sushi lunch at the counter is also highly recommended (do keep in mind that lunch takes about 1.5 hours).
It is extremely kind of you! I also enjoyed the day with you both. I am very happy to know you had a good time in Shimizu and Shizuoka. Although I walk a lot in my daily life, the day after the visit to Kunozan Toshogu I realized I had sore muscles. I hope it was not too much exercises to you. I am sorry the sushi lunch took so much time. On that day the sushi counter was full — with late comers — and there was only one sushi chef; this was one of the reasons for the long lunch. Probably I should have told the chef to manage more efficiently. From my experience, I had a notion that one should accept what sushi chef does at the sushi counter but I should not have taken this for granted. Or I should have explained this before we sat and discussed what we could expect there. Mika

The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Introduced us to very interesting people. Very cloudy that day so Mt. Fuji was not visible but that was OK the countryside was beautiful. Very enjoyable experience. Would book again. thank you so much

The day of the tour was cloudy, so we couldn’t see Mount Fuji, but instead, I think the grilled salmon set meal at the Japanese restaurant and the matcha and green tea tasting at the tea shop surely became good memories for you.
