さんまち通りは飛aka高山の人気観光エリアです。旧市街として、この地域には江戸時代（1603〜1868）の住宅と商店があります。このエリアには、日本酒、せんべい、バーベキュー焼肉、飛ef牛、コロッケなどの郷土料理を扱う店が並んでいます。このエリアは、人々が買い物や食事をする賑やかな雰囲気です。 さんまち通りはJR高山駅から徒歩5分です。高山を訪れる際は必ず立ち寄ってください。
高山周辺の飛ida地方は、貴重な木材資源のため、1692年に徳川幕府の直接の支配下に置かれました。高山陣屋は、江戸（現在の東京）から派遣された役人が率いる地方自治体の役目を果たしました。 この建物は1969年まで公式に使用されていましたが、現在は博物館として一般公開されています。かつてオフィス、会議室、客室、居住空間として利用されていた、さまざまな手入れの行き届いた畳部屋があります。興味深い尋問室もあります。 本館の横には、1600年代に建てられた大きな倉庫があります。日本最大の伝統的な米の貯蔵庫として知られ、現在は博物館として機能し、過去の封建領主の所有物や公式文書、飛ida地域の古い地図、歴史的な町の計画を展示しています。 入場料 440円
■飛騨高山アートフェスタの森 高山の有名な祭りの活気ある世界を垣間見ることができる「祭りの森 」 。 金箔や漆で豊かに装飾された実物大のレプリカ山車（屋台）や、ドラマチックな地下ホールで伝統舞踊を披露する機械式からくり人形などが展示されている。 祭りの展示物以外にも、世界的な昆虫コレクションを誇る自然博物館を探索したり、リスやウサギなどのかわいい動物に出会うことができます。 静かな茶室や小さなアートギャラリーも敷地内にあります（祭りの森から徒歩10分 ） 。 文化や自然、地域の魅力が融合した「まつりの森」は、幅広い世代が楽しめる駅です。
東山遊歩道（東山遊歩道、東山遊歩道）は、高山の寺町（寺町）、市内の田舎の「郊外」、樹木が茂った丘とかつての高山城跡である城山公園を通る快適な散策ルートです。 3.5キロメートルの長いコースに沿って、12を超える一般的な寺院と神社、高山の旧城跡、日本の田舎町の普通の風景を通ります。東山ウォーキングコースは決して素晴らしい観光体験ではありませんが、1〜2時間過ごして高山の穏やかな面を知るのに快適な方法を提供します。
高山祭屋台会館。 春（4月14日と15日）と秋（10月9日と10日）に開催される高山祭は、日本三大祭りの一つに数えられています（他の2つは京都の祇園祭と埼玉の筑紫野祭）。 秋祭りの屋台11台のうち4台は、桜山八幡宮に隣接する高山祭屋台会館で展示されています。精巧に装飾された屋台は数百年前のもので、高山の伝説的な職人技の美しい例です。 祭屋台会館に隣接する日光館は、日本で最も華やかで有名な神社の一つである日光東照宮のさまざまな境内の見事な模型が展示されている広々としたホールです。ミニチュア模型は美しく精巧に作られており、日本語と英語の短い説明が付いています。両ホール内では写真撮影が許可されています。
朝市、朝市の2つの朝市が、高山で毎日午前7時（冬の8時）から正午まで開催されます。旧市街の宮川沿いの宮川市場と、高山陣屋の正面。 スタンドでは、地元の工芸品、スナック、野菜、漬物、花などの農産物を販売しています。観光客も地元の人も、屋台から商品や食べ物を買い、話をする屋台に出没するので、一般的に市場の周りには快適な雰囲気があります。
飛ida国分寺は、JR高山駅から徒歩約5分のところにある高山の有名な仏教寺院です。その象徴的な三階建ての塔は1820年に建設されました。平安時代に作られたと思われる仏像が本館に安置されています。敷地内の巨大なイチョウの木に注意してください。 1,260歳以上です。
高山の桜山八man宮は、秋の高山祭の会場です。神社の隣には、高山祭山車展示館、または屋台会館があり、祭で使用される実際の山車の4つが展示されています。神社は町並バス（時計回り）で15分、またはJR高山駅から徒歩20分です。
日下部民俗資料館は、一般公開された歴史的な私邸です。建物は明治時代に江戸建築様式で建てられました。その素晴らしい建築技術により、建物全体が日本の重要文化財に指定されています。博物館はまちなみバス（反時計回り）で13分、またはJR高山駅から徒歩15分です。
吉島家住宅は、明治41年に建てられました。古くから酒蔵を営んでいたため、軒下には大きな酒林が掲げられています。男性的な日下部家とは対照的に、繊細で女性的な美しさを持つ建築物と言えます。
高山昭和館では、昭和25年当時のレトロな街並みを館内に再現し、当時の生活や文化を懐かしく再現しています。小人横丁、理髪店、写真館、雑貨店などがあり、懐かしい品々が多数展示されており、古き良き時代を体感できます。
飛騨高山レトロミュージアムは、昭和の映画のセットなど懐かしい雰囲気が漂うミュージアムです。フィギュア、雑誌、ポスター、おもちゃ、ゲーム、昭和レトロパチンコなど、実際に「見て」「撮って」「遊んで」、昭和の暮らしや文化を体感できる体験型のミュージアムです。
飛騨民俗村・飛騨の里（ひだみんぞくむら・ひだのさと）は、岐阜県飛騨地方の高山周辺の山間部にある30軒以上の伝統的家屋を展示する野外博物館。 住宅は江戸時代（1603年～1867年）に建てられたもので、1971年（昭和46年）に元の位置から移築された。 旧村長宅、伐採小屋、蔵、合掌造り農家など、村らしい雰囲気の建物が並ぶ。 急勾配の茅葺き屋根が祈りを捧げる一対の手に似ていることから、このような巨大な農家が名づけられた（『合掌』）。 合掌造り住宅が地域の世界遺産登録理由となっている近隣の白川郷から移築された。 入学 700円 (駐車場：300円)

Yuko was an excellent tour guide in Takayama . She was knowledgeable and knew the area and history very well. Yuko also tailored the tour to accommodate shopping that we wanted to do going to some antique shops and many hidden away gems. She was interactive and it was like being with someone in your family, very comfortable.

Micasa was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, answering our many questions and helping us find a number of unique specialty shops we would not have found on our own. His past work focused on cultural preservation proved to be a huge asset, in that he was able to provide a lot of context that we would not have been able to get otherwise. JGA Yoko was a wonderful guide and Takayama is truly a hidden gem of Japan. I fell in love with this place thru seeing the blend of ancient Japan with the modern world today. JGA Yoko was so beautifully articulate as she informed us about the history of the samurai, the incredible parade floats that move thru the city twice a year at the turn of the season, and gorgeous shrines to boot. Not to mention the shops of old town as well. It was a perfect afternoon getting to know the corners of Takayama I’m sure not everyone who visits gets to see. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

I had a fantastic time on the Takayama Half‑Day Private Tour. Our guide Akane was fabulous— warm, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English—making the experience feel personal and tailored to both my friend and myself. We sampled delicious local food and drinks, including sake, and visited beautiful shrines, temples, and key sights around Takayama, making it a truly memorable tour.

Our tour guide, Micasa-san, had an excellent grasp of Japanese history and culture. He also inquired of our expectations and interests prior to our arrival to enable him to formulate our tour itinerary. He even suggested areas for us to tour on our own prior to our tour.
