Nelson was a fantastic guide who taught us so much about Tromso from its history to the breath-taking landscapes. He took the most beautiful photos of everyone in the tour group and was a wonderful communicator who spoke with such enthusiasm and fervent that made time past so quickly.
Real Turmat packaged food (all flavours were delicious) was provided as lunch at the last stop of the tour and honestly it was the perfect way to end the day.
I decided to go with this tour after reading many positive reviews on GetYourGuide and i'm extremely happy it is exactly what others say!

Great for a driving tour
Just be aware that this is not a boat tour, but a driving tour. That being said, Magdalena is fantastic guide and the trip was still incredible with unbeatable views of the fjords.

We had an amazing day with Magalena! She brought us to amazing sceneries, gave us ample time to explore, took great pictures for us. Perfect score for her from us!

Must do!
An absolute MUST, me and my partner chose this tour over renting a car for a day and it was the best decision. Our guide Magdelena was really lovely, knowledgeable and a whiz taking photos on a dslr we were able to download for free the next day. Lunch, hot chocolate and snow appropriate clothes also all provided as part of the cost which was awesome. Went to several breathtaking spots we'd never know to look for with just a car. 10/10 experience!

Wonderful Arctic Tour with a Fantastic Guide
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Arctic Experience!
I had a wonderful time with Arctic Explorers Norway. The tour was well organized, and the scenery was beautiful.
I really enjoyed the lunch and hot drink break—it was perfect for the cold weather. Our guide was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. he shared interesting insights along the way, making the experience even better.
Highly recommend this tour!

Worthwhile
As there were a lot of bookings we were 2 mini-busses with one guide who changed the bus after each stop. It worked, though, and Magdalena gave us a lot of good information and made very nice pictures we could download later.
Unfortunately we didn't see any wildlife apart of 2 birds of prey around a mountain top during lunch break. The lunch break was interesting as we got some expedition food and cookies. The views were beautiful and the bus stopped as well extra once when one of the guests saw another beautiful views.

A must-do tour!
This was an absolutely fantastic tour with beautiful views. I could sit and stare at the mountains for hours. Although I didnt hold out much hope for great sights because the skies were grey and it was raining when we left. But even in the rain the fjords look stunning. And our guide Nelson had checked out the forecast and worked out where the sun would be. I couldnt have asked for a more considerate and interesting tour guide in Nelson. I thoroughly recommend Arctic Explorers.

The highlight of our visit to the Arctic
Tha fjords tour was the highlight of our trip to the Arctic, we arrived by cruise ship and the booking process and our questions about the time for return to the ship was dealt with promptly, the communication process was brilliant.
The trip itself was exceptional, beautiful scenery, a bit of adventure, fantastic lunch, brilliant driver and absolutely incredible guide, Nelson.... What a day we had with a lovely bunch of passengers. I would recommend this trip and arctic adventure in a heartbeat and will certainly be booking another trip with them next time we visit Tromso in June 2027.

Beautiful scenery, very well organized tours by Arctic Explorers
The Fjord tour with Nelson was really lovely; he knew the nicest spots and had a lot of knowledge about so many things. The tour was organized very well; Arctic Explorers was very communicative. We have made splendid memories in Tromso, doing Fjord tour, Reindeer sledding, Dog sledding and a Northern light tour. Amazing environment, over there
