If you are looking for a knowledgeable person to talk about historical places and events, this is the tour for you!
I booked a tour of the Duomo and Cathedral thru Viator online. The confirmation I received instructed me to meet their tour operator "Tours of Milan" at the main entrance to the Sforza Castle @ 2;30pm on 9/14. We arrived at the Castle's main entrance at 2;15 and waited at the main entrance. In the past when we have taken tours in Italy and Ireland the tour guide either has a sign or flag with their company's name that they hold up. We saw other tour guides meeting their customers but we did not see anyone indicating that they were from Tours of Milan. I went to the Castle's information desk and showed the gentleman working the desk my confirmation and asked where the tours meet. He told me I was waiting in the correct place. My husband and I waited until 2:45pm and no tour guide showed up. I would be hesitant to book another tour with Viator in the future.
We booked this tour as a means to get access to The Last Supper and I have to say that I actually enjoyed the tour of the Duomo more than the painting. Our guide (I forgot the name) had lots of great facts and spoke really good and fluent English. We toured the Duomo, stopped by a fort where we had a loo and snack break and finished off at Santa Maria delle Grazie for The Last Supper. In between we saw quite a few other landmarks and learnt about Milan's history and neighbourhoods. Can definitely recommend this if you are interested in history and like walking.

We booked this tour last minute and I am glad we did. It was a nice way to get orientated to Milan. Our guide was very informative and I am grateful to have learned from her. It would not have appreciated the Dumo to the degree I now do without her knowledge. If you are visiting and have a few hours I highly suggest this trip!
