Sacred Valley and its Magic
The Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo are amazing places with a lot of history, beautiful landscapes and impressive archaeological sites. However, I recommend booking more than one day to explore the region. Trying to visit only the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo in a single tour ends up leaving everything very busy, without enough time to appreciate the details and local culture.
Ollantaytambo deserves a quieter visit, both for the fortress and the stone streets and the charm of the city. In addition, the region offers several other interesting attractions worth including in the itinerary, such as Pisac, Chinchero and Moray.
To really take advantage of the experience, the ideal is to plan more time in the region. It is one of the richest places in history and culture around Cusco and deserves to be explored with calm.

Truly Amazing sites and each different from the other
We went to 5 places in the sacred valley, each different than the other. This day trip is truly worth doing. Make sure that you have an experienced and knowledgeable guide to make the visit worthwhile. We did a private taxi and hired a guide for the trip. The guide was very fluent in speaking English.
