Excellent full day tour
Perfect day showing all the sites we wanted to see. Murat was so knowledgeable and accommodated all of our requirements. Would have liked longer at the giants causeway but this would have meant we wouldn’t have managed all of the sites. A longer day would be even better but we were all tired at the end so may just need to do another visit. Excellent tour which couldn’t be faulted.

The Giant’s Causeway tour is a must see and was the highlight of our visit to Northern Ireland. Our guide, Murat, was both professional and personal. We learned historical facts and myths about Northern Ireland while seeing the sights and never felt rushed throughout our 9 hour experience.

Private giant Causeway tour from HAL Port
Fantastic Giant’s Causeway Tour with John Mullan – Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an absolutely wonderful day touring the Giant’s Causeway from Belfast, and our driver, John Mullan, was truly exceptional. From the moment he picked us up at the port, he made us feel welcome, comfortable, and completely at ease.
John took us along the beautiful Antrim Coast Road, through Carnlough Village, and along the stunning Causeway coastline. We visited the Giant’s Causeway, saw the Old Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, and the Dark Hedges. Every stop was beautiful, and John shared great stories and information along the way without ever making us feel rushed.
What really stood out about John was how he went above and beyond to make our day special. We had two special requests, we were on a mission to find a unique bottle and a stuffy sheep to bring back to family. John went out of his way to help us find both! Those little extra efforts meant so much to us and made the day even more memorable.
John also had water waiting for us, kept us entertained with great conversation and plenty of laughs, and was so easy-going and accommodating throughout the entire day. He truly went the extra mile in every way.
We couldn’t have asked for a better driver or a better day. John was fantastic, and we would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Northern Ireland. If you’re lucky enough to have John as your driver, you’re in for a wonderful experience!

The route he took you on is one of our favourites. The Antrim Coast Road through Carnlough, then the Causeway itself, Bushmills, Dunluce Castle and the Dark Hedges, is a full day, and getting all of it in without ever feeling rushed takes a guide who knows the coast well.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our private tour of the Giant’s Causeway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Nigel! From the very beginning, the communication with the company was exceptional. Every question was answered quickly, clearly, and professionally, and we always felt like we were in great hands.
Then came Nigel—and what a fantastic guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, funny, and genuinely passionate about the area. He took us all over the Giant’s Causeway and surrounding areas, showing us places we would have never found on our own. He shared so much history and interesting information while also making the day fun and relaxed. It truly felt like we were exploring with a friend rather than simply being on a tour.

Excellent Private Tour!
We had a wonderful day trip to the Giant’s Causeway with Murat! From start to finish, he was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely interested in making sure we had the experience we wanted.
What we appreciated most was how well he listened to our interests. Rather than simply following a standard itinerary, Murat tailored the day to us and added stops that made the experience even more memorable. For example, he heard that my 12 year old son loved golf, so we visited the Royal Portrush golf club. It was a dream for my son! He shared history, stories, and local insights along the way.
We highly recommend Murat to anyone visiting Northern Ireland!

A wonderful day trip!!

A Day in NI
We booked a private day's tour of Northern Ireland with Murat Yilmaz. Despite his name, Murat has lived in NI for 27 years, has an Irish wife and three Irish daughters. He knows the country well and many of the people in it. And it shows! Despite the inclement weather we had a comprehensive introduction to NI, its countryside, history and culture. Nothing was too much trouble for Murat, and he fell in with, then embellished, some of our ideas about what we wanted to see. Murat is a safe driver in an immaculate people carrier. The day was well-worth the money and is highly recommended.
