A very relaxing trip down the Mississippi River. Wonderful historian giving a very interesting narrative.
It is very interesting and enjoyable. The scenery and narration is very interesting any informative. The trip is adequately long. The weather was pretty hot but expected.
We really can't say as we missed the trip due to flooding and tornado warnings and high wind condition
The food on the ride was great and a good way to try something you normally not order. The historian was very informative and we learned a lot during the tour.
The whole experience was awesome, you learn more about the history of the battle and get to see first hand the area where it took place.
The boat ride was very nice and tour guide very knowledgeable. Enjoyed sitting on upper deck under the awning. Great spot to see everything. Drinks were reasonably priced. They did offer food to purchase but we had dinner plans. Suggest you bring bottle water with you because it gets hot at battlefield. Wished we could have spent more time there felt a little rushed. Would definitely suggest you take the boat ride.
Boat is good. The historian on board was very well informed and helpful. The time at the battlefield is short. We felt rushed. If we did again we would do the Jazz boat ride.
We almost did not book the Dinner and Jazz Cruise because the reviews were mixed. We were glad we booked this cruise . Since it was a Thursday night the crowds were not overwhelming and thus we freely had our sit down dinner and afterwards sat on the upper deck where the jazz band played all throughout the two hour cruise. The weather was perfect and there was a nice breeze. The setting sun gave us an unforgettable several hours of enjoyment. The food was ok, the bread pudding was delicious, and the staff were all attentive and courteous.
Great! I am a Louisiana native and went with my wife who had never been to New Orleans. Our narrator, Charles, really made the history come alive! In the way he covered New Orleans history, and on the way back he told the story of Hurricane Katrina. Overall, an amazing experience.
Sooooooo much fun and sooo interesting! We did the Historical cruise, which we loved. The narrator, Dr Lauren Tarantino was fabulous! So much info! I only wish our schools would teach history like she does!!! Bravo!
