Great experience, learned a lot!
So interesting and fun! Jon was an amazing tour guide and you can get a real sense of how much he loves the city and its history.

We found the tour pretty disappointing. It was really pretty vanilla, containing mostly well-known stories. I’m not sure if what was “adults-only” about. Also, our guide was not engaging, not adding any real punch to the stories.

The tour you booked is advertised as covering some of the most famous stories from a range of subjects, and if you're looking for lesser-known tales then you should check out our Dim Corner tour, which TripAdvisor/Viator calls "Adults-Only True Crime, Mafia, Dark History Tour." To be clear, the reason for our adults-only policy isn't due to the content, but rather because many people who come to New Orleans are looking for activities without anyone underage in the group, so this is a guarantee to all of our guests. Excellent tour! Elaine was an amazing guide-knowledgeable, entertaining, and full of fascinating stories. The mix of New Orleans history, ghost tales, and true crime made for a fun & informative evening. She kept the group engaged the entire time and shared details we never would have learned on our own. This was more informative than I thought ot would be rather than a spooky experience. The tour guide did a good job but I expected spookier things rather than just recounting of a few places where bad things happened, historically.
Hi Kelly, Yes! Our tours are in fact informative. Seems like it would be a waste of ours and your time to just make up a bunch of stories in order to scare our guests. That's not why we are in business and we will never be the company that ignores history in favor of fake jump scares. We are sorry that you didn't catch that that's how we do things!
