Amazing!
It was amazing and JJ, our tour guide, was phenomenal! He was extremely knowledgeable about the French district. I would 100% recommend this tour!

Waste of Money
It was NOT a ghost or haunted tour. It was purely a history tour. Half the people ditched the tour within the first hour. The tour guide said “it’s possible some ghosts are walking behind me right now - why aren’t your cameras out?” When I asked him what the name and subject of the tour was, he got very rude and defensive. I thought I was on the wrong tour. This was a complete waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Rose, You are wrong (or fibbing) about everything you write here. Our guides wear body cams and we, quite literally, JUST finished reviewing your tour and have 100% confidence in calling out your untruths and misrepresentations. Our tour has NEVER been just a ghost or haunted tour. It has ALWAYS been a multi-topic True Crime, Voodoo, Vampires, and Ghosts--exactly as it's listed on TripAdvisor. No, half the people did not ditch the tour. I can clearly see that on camera, I mean, come on, Rose, it's right there for the eyes to see. He did not get rude and defensive, but YOU did get rude and aggressive. And YES, you were definitely on the wrong tour. You should have picked one of those cheap thrills companies where they fill your head with lies and fake stories. If you wanted a ghost hunt, that's quite different than a tour and rest assured, none in this area do it for as cheap as your tour ticket was. So, please by all means, continue to blame us and our guide for your failures to read and understand what you purchased because that's exactly what this world needs...more people with no accountability. You have zero legitimate claims here but we wish you the best of luck for your future.

Professional, spooky, entertaining
The title really says it all. Our guide John was spectacular! Loved his style of story telling, I loved all of the fun facts we learned on our tour, I actually felt I walked away with a lot of history of New Orleans as well so that was an unexpected treat! If my friends come to NOLA they’ll know exactly which tour guide to ask for.

Not as expected. Mostly walking and not as much story telling.
I felt we walked more than anything. Essentially, you are told 1 story related to each- voodoo, crime, ghost, and a vampire. I was hoping to get more of a thrilling tour with more sights and stories. We have a ghost tour in New Braunfels that is filled with various hauntings and stories, so I was expecting more along those lines. This was more of a brief history lesson over a few squares of downtown NOLA, in my opinion.

Hi Raven, our tour is also filled with stories of various hauntings, including but not limited to the true crime, ghost, and vampire stories that you mentioned. We fit in as many topics as we can into 2 hours, and we find 2 hours offers room for far more than 4 stories and the guide you were with consistently tells 9. We find that the real history we explore is much more fascinating than any made-up urban legends.

Adult only tour.
We arrived early to make sure we had time to make the tour. As we sat we watched a pretty wicked storm rolling in over the Louis Armstrong park, I almost canceled. If I had it would have taken away from our unique experience. Our tour guide was a spunky ass dude name Wolfy. I’ve been considered a close minded individual in the past and typically Wolfy wouldn’t have been my type of dude to hang with, boy would have been wrong in them days! Wolfy made the tour! I’m a type of “real” history nerd. Not like the history taught to us in textbook type dude. His history and dates are on point along with his passion you can feel as he walks your uptight ass through the french quarter. The dude couldn’t have been a better fit for my personality and my wife’s “ Doo da doo” view of the world. He gave us an authentic tour that made us feel a part of the city. We went from a couple that would have just added this city to a list of ones visited, to being totally captivated by her! We will return much due to the Tour we had with Wolfy. I admire this guide and his passion. The city he so honorably represents should as well. Sincerely the, uptight Iowa dude.
