Guide was very polite but I don’t think he was familiar with the tour we booked. He didn’t take us to some of the places we expected. Also, he was not very good speaking or understanding English.

That you are picked up by taxi and not a bus or coach like we expected which was very surprising but also a personal touch. G was amazing and very knowledgeable and made our afternoon very enjoyable.

Monica is the best guide in all of Brazil, Santa Teresa is truly special, we visited the historic center and Monica had photos to show us the evolution, she explained every single detail to us, giving us something extra to everything we saw. Very kind, she accommodated us in everything, took us to sip the historic coffee of Brazil, she took a thousand photos of us and left us some free time! We spent a wonderful half-day with Monica. She accompanied us through historic Rio and the Santa Teresa neighborhood, telling us about and showing us curiosities and details... making us appreciate this city not only for the famous and imposing Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain but also for its baroque, bohemian, and even slightly European glimpses... impeccable organization... hours of culture and joy...
