This was a great experience. Francisco is very knowledgeable about the wines of the local area and we learnt a lot. The wines were perfectly complimented by appropriate tapas. A very convivial hour spent with other visitors.

Host was amazing. His presentations of every wine were the most informative of any wine tasting we’ve ever been to. Wines were great and paired with tapas.

Great host, conversation was amazing; authentic experience of Córdoba wine culture, we even left with a bottle to share with others.

Francisco welcomed us as we walked in to his shop for what turned out to be a private tasting for my wife and I. He did a great job of explaining the place of Cordoba's unique wines among the variety of Spanish wines. We tasted four distinct wines each produced from the Pedro Ximenez grape grown in the region. Each was paired with a different food combination that maximized the qualities of the respective wines. Additionally, he gave us tips for how to identify Cordoban wines and order them in local restaurants, and suggested a particular restaurant which was a great lead. If you are interested exploring a part of the wine and food culture that is particular to the Cordoba region, this experience is highly recommended.

A brilliant introduction to unexpected wines. So thoughtfully prepared. Making connections to other wines, spirits and liquors. Highly recommended.

Fun way to taste and learn about the local wines and how they are made in a cute little wine shop that sells only local products.

I truly enjoyed the experience. We tasted 4 different wines (paired with bread. cheese, meats, and olives) from the region. Francisco was very knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this wine/tapas experience. The wines were only from the Cordoba area and they were paired expertly with the tapas. It was an excellent way to learn aboutI local foods, wines and customs.

Walking into this event i thought “Oh, this might not be what i wanted.” Leaving, “That was great!” It was held in a little shop and the tasting was run by the owner. It was fun, informative and i would certainly recommend it. I’ll add that I am not a white wine fan, but left with a Cordaba appreciation that I have been enjoying during our stay here
