Gabby was a knowledgeable & interesting host. We tasted 6 wines accompanied by almonds & some tapas chosen to pair with each wine. The shop is quite quirky & the various people popping in added to the experience. Would definitely recommend.
Be aware this isnt a tour. This is a tasting of 3 natural wines in a shop. The heading doesnt say this. Natural wines taste quite different to other wines so be aware. The hostess obiously knew her stuff about the process that goes into creating these natural wines, but i found it underwhelming. The food, was a tin of anchovies some cheese and some meat. All in all not the best way to spend a couple of hours in a lovely city.
We booked what was described as wine tasting and tapas with a walk to three different venues (a tavern, a historic hotel and a roof terrace) in Córdoba. When we arrived at the meeting place (a small wine shop/bar) it transpired that there was an error in the booking system and it was a straightforward wine tasting at the shop. One other couple joined us and they too had encountered the booking system error. Our host, Gabby, offered to refund us if we preferred to cancel but we opted to go ahead. Gabby was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the natural wines of the region, we tried 4 wines and a sherry, accompanied by assorted nibbles. It was a very enjoyable experience and we enjoyed meeting Gabby and our fellow tasters.
I arrived and no one was there and the restaurant was closed. What a disappointment! I contacted them through the app but no one responded!
The guide didn't turn up at the meeting point. The company was uncontactable. Viator is investigating. I hope for a refund.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening with JAVI. He was absolutely one of the best guides we ever have tried. Very dedicated and nice to speak with. He adapts to everyone on a pleasant way. His knowledge about Cordoba and the history is top job. But wen he starts to speak about food and wine, it becomes a passionate talk. Don’t forget to visit his vine bar at Jugo Vinos Vivos. Plaza San Andres It’s a hidden gem in Cordoba.
José is the guy. Knowledgeable and attentive, and provided the best balance between the expected tourist attraction and local culture, and the unexpected dive into history, heritage, and exclusive non-touristy gems. He catered the tour to the group's interests and treated us all like we were his friends and family. Highly highly recommend--you will not be disappointed! Pro tip: never call jamón, bacon :P Gracias José!!!
Jose was more then knowledge about Cordoba and really gave us a tour worth while! We definitely got to see places we wouldn't have on our own. Highly recommend!
