while our guide was friendly and engaging, she did not demonstrate a good knowledge of the history, architecture…of Paris.

We do appreciate you flagging the depth of historical and architectural knowledge, as it speaks to something important about our concept. At Lokafy, our Lokafyers are locals who share their city from their own perspective rather than professional licensed guides offering structured historical or architectural commentary. The experience is closer to exploring with a knowledgeable local friend than taking a formal guided tour. Many of our Lokafyers are very knowledgeable about their cities, but for travelers whose main priority is detailed historical or architectural depth, a licensed professional guide is often the better match. Emma was a bright and cheerful tour guide. She allowed great flexibility when lines at some venues proved to be too long. She opted us for a boat ride on the Seine which was very pleasant on a warm and sunny day.

Jacopo’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the city’s history and culture made the experience unforgettable.
