The guy with the kayaks was great. He was helpful and accommodating. Even though I have somewhat of a water phobia, he put me at ease and I had a great time

Super fun kayaking trip with my family. Everything was easy to book and the meet up point was easy to find. We got to see an alligator on our trip also!

We rented Kayaks from Up the Creek on one of their 'no tour' days. We are experienced, Pete told us that the trip should be easy. It was. It was a gorgeous day, low 70's lots of sun. the creek was charming. There were lots of turtles sunning themselves. No gators, which was alright with me. Very relaxing day on the water. Up the creek provided us with great equipment and a great time.

We had a wonderful experience with the guide, Pete, from up the creek expeditions. The price was reasonable and the scenery was beautiful. Pete has a wealth of knowledge of the flora, fauna and history. They recommended we go early, 8:30 as it s more peaceful and less hot. We had a wonderful time. Thank you to Up the Creek Expeditions.

Aaron gave us a quick refresher on how to operate the kayak and we write off. Beautiful scenery and got to see an alligator! This is a must do adventure when visiting Amelia Island. Thanks to Aaron and Amber for making it happen!

Beautiful river and easy paddle. Second time using Amelia Island Kayak and would use them again. First time we did a guided tour (which was great) and this time went without a guide. Saw lots of turtles and 1 very small gator. Beautiful flowers in bloom and lots of birds.

This was our best experience in Amelia Island, Kayaking with Pete! Our conversation with Pete was so educational and inspiring. He is very peaceful and calm, and he worked in fire/rescue and EMS for over 27 years. Pete is a great nature lover and is very knowledgeable. He told us how to distinguish egret and heron, alligator and crocodile, hawk and eagle, turtle and tortoise, and it was fun to know about half-female and half-male cardinal (or hermaphrodite)! For him, being a guide is not really a job, because he loves paddling. Thank you, Pete! The only pity we have is not to take a picture with you.

What an incredible way to spend your day with family! This was a relaxing, enjoyable, educational experience that my children won’t soon forget. Mark and Jenna were our guides for the day. They were personable, and very helpful throughout the tour. We did the 2 hour Lofton Creek tour with our crew of 8. It was perfect. Highly recommend! We’ll be back! A+ in all areas!!

it was a beautiful creek to paddle , lots of vegitation and saw some turtles and a gator. put in and out was easy

It was such a fun excursion! The waterway was so calm and peaceful and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely rent here again when we’re visiting Amelia Island!
