原始的な水路であるロフトン クリークは、植物が腐るにつれて水中に浸出するタンニンによって生成される濃い色の水が特徴です。ラクウショウ、スウィートガム、ツツジや野生のツツジなどの珍しい花が豊富にあるこのユニークな生態系は、ユニークな植物、動物、爬虫類が豊富に生息する汽水域である古い南バイユーを思い出させます。 16 世紀半ばにスペイン人、フランス人、イギリス人が到来するまで、ネイティブ アメリカンは数千年にわたってこの海域で漁業をし、土地を耕作していたと考えられます。

This is a nice float just be aware coming back. You have to paddle upstream, but wasn't too bad. Had two tour guides that were wonderful very knowledgeable and very friendly.
Tour guide was great! Moderate level of exertion. Take plenty of water. Get there early for orientation
Special thanks to CJ and AJ. They provided an exceptional experience. They were so patient and pointed out stuff that I wasn’t aware of before. This was my first time kayaking and it was an amazing experience.

We took the 2.5 hour kayak tour snd it was nothing short of amazing! A wonderful family trip for all ages and experiences. Highly recommend a morning tour before the sun is too hot .
We had the BEST morning on the Loftis Creek with our tour guide, Madeline! Had great weather, saw a couple of alligators, and learned lots about the Creek. We would definitely do this tour again and recommend it to anyone who needs some time out on the water, breathing in the fresh air, and learning out this ecosystem. Definitely time well spent with our two young adult sons. (They loved it!)
Madeleine and Rob were knowledgeable and friendly guides. The morning tour was ideal, with a lot of shade. It was an easy, relaxing paddle great for beginners.
Beautiful day, relaxing trip on the Creek with an awesome guide full of information about the area and its inhabitants! Would do it again!
