If you do the half day tour, don’t get a guided tour. Too much talk and slow going. Use the bus they provide to get to Toledo easy and enjoy. We would suggest the longer tour but it was 95 degrees and 1/2 day was enough. Go in the spring or fall and enjoy. Parking is hard in those places and the bus ride was perfect. Beautiful city with so much history.
a wonderful experience! a comfortable commute with a splendid and kind tour guide! even though it was a few hours, a lot was learned and i liked how we had over an hour of free time to explore the area :)
Our guide was great! Excellent experience.
It was great tour, still learned a lot with the express tour. It allowed us to go do our own thing and eat at a restaurant and do some shopping before heading back to the bus. Jose Luis was a great tour guide and definitely recommend if you are looking for something to do and learn.
Disappointed. The Tour Office made a mistake with the number of customers and spaces available. The worst: they never apologized and tried to make me feel that it was my mistake not them. The Manager was rude.
It was about 5 hours tour total time. The actual walking tour ( all together ) was less than 1 hour . This included a factory - first stop - where they show how to work with steel ( 5 min) and the showroom on the second floor with jewelry and swords. Overpriced. Then the second stop was in upper Toledo ( old town) and took no longer than 35 min. Very brief and very general information. Didn’t include entrances to the churches. Then it was free time to do whatever and at 14.15 we got into bus to get back to Madrid. Good that the transportation was provided. Bad that the tour was very superficial.
It has a good sense of humor and very good guidance. And English is very easy to understand.
The tour was very good; I would have loved to spend more time in Toledo since I could not visit the different viewpoints. But the attention from the guide and the transportation were very good.
