Yes, it is an early start but what a great day. From breakfast at the Soho Club, to stopping the boat to watch the sunrise, having morning tea at Maya Bay, jumping off the top of the boat for a swim, 2 snorkeling stops, island stop, great crew and a delicious Thai lunch back at Soho.

We got it early to try and watch the sunrise. Even though it was overcast and the water was really choppy this experience was awesome. Mo Mo our guide is world class and i was amazed and how she navigated and lead the group. We had plenty of time at each stop and was able to enjoy each moment. Again MoMo was the best picture taker. The snacks, food at the end were top notch. Snorkel equipment was awesome and I think my best snorkelling experience ever. If you are thinking of doing this - just book it - amazing experience.

If you want to go to Phi Phi island but don’t want massive crowds, want some exclusivity but don’t want to pay for a private tour look no further. The team at Simba do an absolutely excellent job. It’s early and worth it. You arrive early at the marina where they have coffee, tea, beverages and snacks. The boats are new and well maintained. You are first to Maya beach without the crowds then enjoy breakfast. The group on board was 10 people from fifty to five and we all had a blast. We went to snorkeling locations, monkey beach; another snorkel and on to coconut island before heading back to soho beach club for a delicious lunch. The entire time the Simba team are attentive, serve fresh water and fruit, snacks - you are never hungry - make sure you have a great snorkle time and focused on safety. If you get Mo Mo you are in for a treat. We are discerning travels who like a first class experience. Don’t hesitate to book. Thank you to the team it was a trip highlight.

We had an amazing private charter. Originally we planned to visit Phi Phi but the seas were too rough and Paul suggested Phang Nga Bay. It was an awesome time. Everything was great. Communication leading up to the day was excellent. Kayaking was a lot of fun and we found some great spots to just relax on the beach or in the water. I highly recommend and will be using Simba again when we visit next year.

We booked the Phang Nga Bay tour as a private tour. Our hotel pick up was at 6am so we could get on the water early and beat the bigger tour boat crowds. That is a great strategy! The weather is warm enough to handle being on the water at 7am, we went to many sites where we were alone or just among a few other travelers (and we'd see bigger boats arriving as we departed). The "James Bond" island is one of the stops, but honestly not caring about movies, it was nice to see but not the big experience. The great things - we pulled up and wandered through a cave to come out into beautiful internal lagoon area at one island (the monkeys were curious to see us and enjoyed our extra watermelon). We went kayaking again entering into some lovely, hidden from the outside, nooks and crannies in another island. We stopped to swim by a beautiful beach with only a few fishermen in sight. We had lunch seaside (very nice) at a drowsy, but delicious little cafe. Finally we went to another beautiful beach where the boat staff set up a shade cabana for us and we swam for a few more hours. Along the way the guide and captain and deck hand were all helpful and professional, they served us a lovely breakfast, made sure we stayed hydrated and (as noted above) brought us to a nice lunch place. It was a very chill, very beautiful way to be out on the water for the day.

We experienced the Krabi Classics private tour with Simba. Wow. What an unforgettable experience. The team was fantastic - very friendly and accommodating. The tour places we visited were breathtaking. The private tour was very personal and well-suited for my sister's 60th birthday surprise, with extra touches added, such as speakers onboard for music and a cake during a delicious lunch. The organisation of this trip was seamless. The crew do their best to cover the best locations and provided plenty of snacks for our trip. They did a great job of also guiding us on our snorkeling excursion where we saw a very unique seahorse that almost looked like a small thin snake and a giant starfish. They made sure we were safe when we stopped and that our swimming area was secure for us to swim safely away from other boats. They also took plenty of wonderful photos of our group.

My friends and I went with Simba on a private charter to the Phi Phi Islands. Wow, just wow. If you are in Phuket, the Phi Phi Islands are on your bucket list (or should be!) But there are so many options, boats, tours, etc., how do you decide? We decided to spend a little more money to get a private charter so we could avoid the crowds and travel on our own schedule. I was surprised at how touristy all the stops were, but for good reason, they were all amazing, starting with the world famous Maya Bay, and two snorkeling destinations. They key is to start very early to get out before the crowds. The fantastic team at Simba Sea Trips picked us up bright and early at our hotel and took us to the marina and their pool club to get the day started. The customer service was obvious from the beginning and throughout the whole tour. We really felt like VIP guests the whole time. Three crew members for the group of 4 of us! At the end of the day, we visited a private beach and then had lunch at the Pool Club. I can't recommend this highly enough, spend a few extra TBH and take a private speed boat charter from Phuket with Simba Sea Trips - it's so worth it for your once in a lifetime trip to the magical Phi Phi islands.
