Just came back from Phuket. We were four families with kids from 6-12 years old, and having a private tour was the best decisions we made for our trip. The nice videos and blogs the team makes kept us looking forward to the tour (dont miss them - like their FB page too). We were travelling in the rainy season and the last thing we wanted was to have our tour on a day with thunderstorms (which happened on the day we arrived in Phuket) The customer service team assured that they could adjust the schedule should the weather be bad, and sent us weather forecast to give us peace of mind. This was especially important to me as I tend to over worry especially when we have so many kids. The CS team was always quick to respond to questions, and sent detailed and timely reminders before the trip, keeping us well informed of what to expect. The breakfast they provided was decent. Our guide Anwa was both friendly and professional. He gave a detailed briefing on the tour before we went on the boat, which was well maintained and very spacious for the 15 of us. I think one moment I would still recall for a very long time from now was when we sat at the front of the boat and seeing the Phi Phi Island getting closer and bigger as we approached, and that I was in awe admiring its magnificant cliffs. Watching a youtube video on this world famous landscape is one thing, appreciating its beauty in my own way is another. This is a world apart from being stuffed on a boat packed with many other tourists, and seeing the landscape for the first time only when you leave the boat. For those moments alone I did thought the private tour was well worth it :) Though we didn't set off early we were lucky to have arrived at Maya Bay before it became too crowded, again one good thing about travelling with a private tour. We then arrived at a different bay for swimming, but since we preferred to spend more time on snorkeling Anwa quickly adjusted his plan. We ended up having an hour of so (I lost track of time to be honest) for snorkeling and we all enjoyed it. The last highlight of the tour was lunch on an island - we had feared that it would be expensive as the restaurant was part of a hotel, but the food and drinks turned out to be very reasonably priced (and tasty) and we were thankful as we had hungry kids to feed! All in all you won't regret joining 5 star marine tours as they well deserve the ‘5 star’ title. We came to Phuket in a smaller group last year and joined a random island hopping tour at those small stalls on streets of Patong. I know you can’t compare a random group tour and a private tour but in Cantonese, we say “the difference is nine streets”, if not eighteen streets in this case! And if you compute the cost per head - the difference is actually minimal. If you are travelling in a big group, look no further and just join one of their tours please. Thank you Anwa and the team for everything and of course Shaun and the rest of the staff for making island hopping in Phuket the most enjoyable experience for all adults and kids in our group. Did some research and 5 Star marine had the best prices and responded quick to my inquiries. They were flexible last minute on changing date for better weather. The day was fun and worth every penny. Well worth it, highly recommend 5 Star Marine

A brilliant experience for all the family. We booked direct and got great value for money as well as lots of support from the team on the weather and what to expect. There were 6 of us (including 4 teenagers) on the boat and there was loads of room inside and at the front. The Crew were really helpful and designed the day to fit us. One of our children has special needs and the crew were amazing at adapting perfectly to ensure she had a great day. We opted to spend more time in the boat and in the water, which meant we got to see loads. I recommend the 6.30 pick up. The crew helped us avoid all the crowds, including at Maya Bay. This tour would suit everyone as they personalise each trip.

Incredible day with Sun on our private tour and transfer to Phi Phi Don. Sun’s knowledge of the area was first class, it meant we were ahead of the crowds at each part of our day. Definitely allow the staff to build your itinerary. We felt safe throughout the day, our driver was exceptional in navigating some of the choppy seas we experienced. Communication from first booking was great. Would 100% recommend, excellent value for money.

We had an amazing day with 5 Star Marine! From the moment I booked, their communication was exceptional. They answered every question promptly and made the entire process so easy. On the day of our tour, our driver picked us up exactly on time and took us to the marina, where YA YA welcomed us with cold water and snacks. She was absolutely wonderful, and she and our captains took incredible care of us all day. We explored the stunning Phi Phi Islands, walked through beautiful Maya Bay, snorkeled at three different spots with amazing marine life, and visited Monkey Island to see the monkeys. Every stop was perfectly planned, and we never felt rushed. For lunch, YA YA recommended Paekruwit Phuket, a beautiful waterfront restaurant with some of the best seafood we’ve had in Thailand. It was the perfect addition to an already incredible day. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. They even made sure we got back to our resort comfortably at the end of the day. Without a doubt, this was the best day of our vacation. If you’re looking for a private boat tour in Phuket, I can’t recommend 5 Star Marine enough. Highlight of our Thailand trip! We had a blast snorkeling, seeing the monkeys and baby sharks! They gave us fresh fruit and tons of drink options! Very enjoyable!

Excellent experience. Staff on arrival. Boat crew and guide were fantastic. Very helpful and supporting. Our fast boat was very clean and well maintained. The whole experience was 5 star and happy to recommend.

Amazing boat trip I loved it and the water so clear

My friends and I had the most amazing day touring the Phi Phi islands. Great boat ride (got to hook up my Bluetooth for tunes)…said it was a red flag water/wave day but not bad at all. Better than a Texas lake. Hit the major landmarks, swam in the beautiful water (major plus for the included noodles to float), snorkeled and saw some baby sharks (shout out to our deck hand/master snorkler who guided us to them). Saw monkeys, turquoise water, The Beach movie location, caves and tons of gorgeous fish. Our guide Faii was amazing! She was watching out for us/taking care of us every second. Also had all of the information for every landmark. Set us up for a beautiful (and inexpensive) private lunch location. All in all it was a 5 star day! ❤️
